Vila Gale Collection Tomar

Absolutely lovely hotel.Location, staff, ameneties, cleanliness, all were perfect.Beautifully renovated building, while still maintainingparts of the building from the year 1500.Wonderful hotel.

The staff were very helpful and professional ensuring we had a great stay. The hotel is not only historic, but laid out very well with excellent places to rest, read or even work. The outdoor pool is in a very beautiful setting, but a little too cold for us! ☺️ The indoor pool and sauna were excellent and a great place to relax after a day of walking up to the castle and other sights. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of options. One last thing, the staff made sure my wife had an excellent birthday. Thank you very much!

Thanks to all the staff, I had an amazing stay for my birthday in Tomar at Vila Galé.The location is beautiful and conveniently in the historic centre of town. The facilities are good, swimming pool is perfect by the river and relaxing, the bar and restaurant are fantastic with warm and friendly staff. I will think on coming back to stsy at Vila Galé Tomar for relaxing city breaks in future. Thanks again to all staff that made my stay a wonderful experience, you were very kind.

My only suggestion will be to place another flower bed on the balcony (mine was the last one) so it covers the view of the car park. Other than that just keep doing what you are doing because you are doing a great job and I had a fantastic time.

No comfortable sitting room to relax in. There was only bar area, library(joke!) and seating area at entrance

Our stay at Vila Gale Thomar was excellent. Right from the staff who helped with check-in to the staff during breakfast service, all were courteous, helpful, professional and very kind. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and adequately sound proofed. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options, including a live omelette bar. our room had a great view of the outdoor pool, the water canal and the Templar castle. The property is close to the town square and park. We also got free parking close to the property though they do have parking at the property for 10 euros. We had a very enjoyable stay at Vila Gale Thomar and would highly recommend this boutique hotel to everyone.

The location is superb for exploring the beautiful & historic town of Tomar. Private, secure on- site parking is really welcome also. Breakfast was exceptional and ALL the staff were great - friendly, helpful, efficient and couldn’t do enough to help. We will definitely be back.

Facilities are in historical buildings, very well maintained and renovated, with love to details. There is even little Chapel in side.

Its location was excellent with free parking across street. The breakfast choices were huge representing nearly every country. Unexpected treat.

Great location on the fringe of the old city and views over the river. Easy walking distance of numerous restaurants. Friendly and helpful service. Great indoor pool.

Found nothing to dislike.

The room was enormous, the bed super comfortable and the balcony had a great view. The breakfast has a great variety, and we also had dinner, very tasty the food.

Brilliant location and a beautiful remodelling of an old building. Attention to detail both in the architecture and facilities were superb.

I think the entrance to the hotel reception and hotel parking could have been better signposted which as a visitor from overseas was a little confusing. There’s public car parking close by, but the hotel as its own car park entered through a secure door and at a small charge.

Even though it says the pool is adults only, there were too many children in the pool.Very limited vegan options for breakfast.

I liked everything, pool, room with balcony, location, breakfast buffet with plethora of options, friendliness of the staff, rain shower in the bathroom. I highly recommend staying here!

Not the fault of the property, but there were too many families with small kids (cry babies) and that's not something I'm keen on, especially not during breakfast. Of course it's very personal and people with small kids might love this aspect...Depending when one arrives/leaves, check in and check out can incur some waiting around, which is not ideal.
