Staff were very nice and helpful. Parking available at the hotel if doing the local whale watching tours. Clean and the morning breakfast was good.

The staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. While I didn?t experience this directly, I noticed on one or two occasions the kitchen served several customers who showed up shortly after their normal closing.

There were 3 frustrations: 1-no obvious way to regulate the temperature; 2-no top sheet on the bed, just a heavy comforter; 3-no fan for air circulation. These seem common in Europe, in general, so may be a US expectation that doesn?t apply elsewhere.

There was a key needed for lights that no one mentioned to us. They might mention that to tourists. Otherwise it was an awesome experience.

We had very healthy breakfast with so many selections. Location was perfect and close to the harbor for our whale watch tour.

We had our dog with, we knew it was dog friendly but confusion between booking.com and the hotel was poor regarding this. The desk staff was abrupt and rude to my daughter, even though we were not aware there was a problem. Not impressed. Do not treat customers like this, find out the problem politely and solve it.Beds were uncomfortable, very hard. Open shower leaves a wet floor everywhere. Refrigerator was giving off an annoying hum. Light in bathroom was poor for applying makeup.

This was our first night in Iceland and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is unbelievably iconic, sits right down the hill from the Red church. The hotel itself is adorable and the bar and restaurant accessibility just made everything so convenient . We were able to check in and make dinner reservations for that same evening. Large variety of breakfast selections too.

I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Proximity to town

Bed was hard and the bottom cover was a stretch knit cover that had seams and was all bally. Very uncomfortable. Rooms curtains were in 4 sections and did not cover the windows enough to block up the light. No aircon and the bathroom shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Would not recommend.

Location is center of town walking distance to best restaurants and whale tour experience.

We stayed two nights and the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and staff was nice and very accommodating.

This hotel is located in town, within walking distance to most everything. Very efficient, clean, and comfortable. Good breakfast.

Its location in Húsavík is awesome. A very close walk to everything. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room had a great view of the ocean and Harbor.

Very nice hotel , the location is perfect , direct in city center. The rooms are big and very nicely decorated.

The price is too high , but it is understandable because it is a hotel they have much more expenses then i guest house. The guesthouse in Iceland are amazing so if you have alternative for cheaper spot to stay you can do it easily they are very nice. For us was just one night to sleep so it was not worth it ! Breakfast very poor for a hotel by European standards.

The breakfast was a disaster. We didn't order breakfast but decided to have one. It costs 3000 ISK for a person. And it was absolutely bad. Avoid. I was pissed off. If not this, this review would have all stars

Had a wonderful experience— the staff was v helpful, our deluxe room was a great size and food was excellent. Location was perfect.

Well located, breakfast

Room was small and lacked facilities, ground floor and faced the parking lot, so practically no window that could be opened. Shower was so small it was hard to use.

The location was great. The room was spacious. The shower was great. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding. There was a fridge in the room.

The room was near the lobby which had a lot of lounging areas. We stayed on a Saturday night and there were a lot of people in the lounging areas of the lobby imbibing. So it was a little loud. Also the curtains in the room didn’t quite cover the entirety of the windows, so it was lighter in the room than it should be for sleeping.
