Pros +
- Location / Setting, along with the immaculate facilities and wonderful hot bath and sauna! The workers at the Restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us.
- Very comfortable and clean rooms with great beds and great bathroom/shower
- This hotel is in a beautiful location with magnificent views. Our room overlooked the harbor with the mountains in the distance. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- The restaurant was Good, but only good. Maybe (3.7 out of 5 stars) However the Staff more than made up for the food. While the food was not terrible, I had much better cuisine at other hotels on the Island. However I would eat there again.
- Not much privacy out window. Room on ground floor overlooking marina which is beautiful but no privacy because people walking outside the window.
- Honestly there wasn't anything.

Super nice setting. Rooms were big, clean and well appointed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the hot tub, bar, restaurant and the breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.
Honestly there wasn't anything.
breakfast was great. suite was sensational. staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
it rained. you should really do something about that.
Free/included breakfast was fine. Some good local food. The fruit however was below average.
We stayed at Siglo hotel for 1 night in September and highly recommend it. It is conveniently located in the city center. Herring museum was across the street. The room and bathroom are spacious, very clean. Beds are comfortable and we had a nice sleep. Very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has a nice restaurant on site.
Great breakfast, nice hot tub, great location.
Very clean and well maintained. Outdoor Hot tub was excellent. Breakfast buffet was well stocked.
Dining options are limited in this town so it’s the hotel or a scarce few local places…we’re here in September and most restaurants were shuttered.
Incredibly quaint and luxurious. Beautiful views, very kind staff, and amazing rooms.
That we couldn’t stay longer!
Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff, comfortable beds, wonderful view from windowseat. We enjoyed the scenic hot tub. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. You can’t beat this hotel and the town is charming and picturesque. Herring Era museum is fascinating as well.
The staff was very helpful, especially Gudny Erla. She was very friendly and extremely helpful in suggestions of what to do locally on a misty, rainy day.
Beautiful view of the harbor from our room.
Even with heat off the room is warm but that seems to be everywhere in Iceland.
Beautiful room! Great restaurant on premises. Friendly staff. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was very good. Great view of the harbor. Relaxed in hot tub in the evening!
New property with stylish rooms. Great lavish breakfast.
Our room looked right out to the water, felt like you were on a boat! The window seat was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the amazing view. Restaurant was great and we had the best waiter who kept us entertained and well fed! Location is perfect, right in town.
Nothing, this place was fab!
Great stay! Welcoming staff, clean and comfortable.
Nothing. Everything was amazing!
Very modern
Everything was perfect, room, wire, location
This was our best hotel in Iceland. The room was clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and larger than any other place we stayed. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We wish we had booked more than one night there.
might be the least good food I had in Iceland, both dinner and breakfast, mead was dry, vegetables were also dry, clearly no cook or regard to food quality here
