Pros +
- Very homey and welcoming place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed this place. And highly recommend their restaurant. Chef is fabulous.
- Location.
- When we walked through the door, we were not only greeted with a friendly face, but with the amazing smells coming from the kitchen of the Moroccan restaurant within the hotel. We had the best meal of our entire trip here, and the room accommodations were perfect for our needs.
Cons -
- Expensive breakfast.
- Placed on 3rd floor with narrow, winding stairs. No elevator. Room was very small. Shower was open, small and water leaked through out the bathroom and into the bedroom. The toilet worked as a bidet, when you flushed the toilet, you get wet!. The sink was 1/4 the normal size.
- The building is older so you can hear the doors open/closing loudly and the floor would creak.

Center of quiet city. Free limited parking. Coffee available at restaurant. Entrance had a vintage feel.

Location was great; walkable to shops, restaurants and museums.
Clean, comfortable bed, cozy bar and sitting room in the lobby. The hot tub looked relaxing although we didn’t take a soak due to the weather. It is located in a central location within walking distance to bars/restaurants. We just happened to be in town during a festival so we got to hear live music.

The room smelled musty when we entered. During the night it was impossible to get any ventilation with the windows open because the blinds just block it and you need to keep them down to avoid the sun. After taking a shower the air was really bad in the room so we needed to open the door to the hallway and keep the windows open. The bathroom cannot be closed completely and only has glass walls so there's very little privacy. The bed was not that comfortable but OK.
Perfect place to stay the night. The jacuzzi with the view of the mountain was just a very nice surprise and great way to end the day. Beautiful views from our room
Clean and quiet. Centrally located.Good breakfast, good internet, clean. Fantastic Moroccan restaurant on the ground floor.
After this stay, I am sure I am more into places where I can feel welcomed and have contact with locals. What was nice: view from the room, quite nice bed, coffee and tea for free. People working at the kitchen- very kind.
The room floor was sticky in some places, clearly not cleaned properly after the last guests. The shared shower in the corridor was old and very small. The room and common areas were very dark and depressing. There are stairs leading to the rooms, which can make it very difficult for some people to carry their luggage, and it is definitely not accessible. It was also difficult to find the entrance — we had to walk around and ask several people before we finally found it, as there was no clear signage indicating the entrance to the hotel.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, vintage well kept furniture. Cozy sitting areas at the loby.
All was great. It is one of the few places I gave 10 out of 10
The highlight was the hot tub.we really enjoyed it.the room and every one of the living rooms were beautifully decorated.jazz music was playing constantly at the shared rooms.
The style of the hotel had a classic, old look inside. Staff are nice! The lobby area is very cool.
The position, the breakfast and the Maroccan restaurant and the politeness of the people at desk and at the restaurant.
Friendly staff - Rashid & his wife were really friendly and helpful for our whole stay. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to look after us.
The mattresses were a bit old, some new firm ones would be an improvement.
QuietComfortable bedCosy and inviting public spaces in which to relaxFriendly staff
Lack of elevator
The location was super centric. And the town has gorgeous views of Iceland.
Since is low season it was like a ghost town and there were not many things to do.
Basic room , unconfortable beds
Unconfortable narrow beds, small bathroom
Hotel is is charming, homey and comfy, it's in an icelandic neighborhood with a local bakery down the street, opportunity to see local people. Morroccan restaurant in hotel with vegan option.
Good location, and safe because you need to use your bedroom key to get in also. Not everyone can go in
I didn’t like thar the barhroom was on the hall to share, it is fine but made me uncomfortable. Aldo the spring beds were not good and the pillows way to soft
