Pros +
- Good hotel, great breakfast and very clean.
- Great food, and reasonable prices. Nice size room.
- Very nice hotel, centrally located to many restaurants, markets, bakeries and shops. Rooms are good sized and with a good view. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
Cons -
- Room was kinda sterile, could have been more welcoming.
- One common problem in Iceland is that the water kettle or coffeemaker have a short power chord and/or don't have a nearby AC Plug. You have to figure out how to plug them.
- The photos on the internet showed a rather sumptuous spread with mountains of smoked salmon. There was no salmon, just the usual bland sliced meat and cheese

Super clean hotel in an excellent location. Typical Nordic hotel with everything you need and nothing more.

This property is well located on the waterfront and central to the town. The rooms are modern with the amenities you expect at a hotel.
We stayed at this property at two different times over a 10-day period. We thought we had booked a double room the first time, and a triple the second time. We had thought we were booking additional space, but were told it’s the same room they just add a third bed (which we didn’t need, but wasn’t in our room when we arrived). I would clarify on Booking.com what you are getting with each room type before booking.
Centrally located easy check in
Impossible access by car, have parked 5 blocks away Check in at a bar ( not unusual in Iceland ) room too small and uncomfortable; noisy street Bathroom is too small; functionality becomes a challenge to use it
Really good hotel right in the center, clean and very quiet, with good amenities.
Cost is high but that's the same all over Iceland.
Nana was so kindly and help us.
The restaurant very pricy, no fridge in the room.
Great location with comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very convenient.
We stayed one night as part of our West Fjord road trip and wish we had stayed two nights. There are areas to explore that we did not have time to do. The town is the largest in West Fjord and a great place to poke around.
Great location, nice facility and good restaurant. Nice size rooms too!
Location good, excellent breakfast, nice rooms, easy parking, helpful staff
The signage for Torg is not on the outside. A bit confusing as they have other properties
Close convenient quiet.
Cleaning products smells were strong on entry.
Great location plus quality restaurant attached to the hotel. Freshly renovated bar, restaurant, and breakfast area.
The Hotel has a very good location right in the middle of Isafjördur. All the Staff Members were very nice to us. The rooms are a little older but still very good and the beds were also good. Free Parking close to the hotel with many available spaces.
Would be nice to have some Skyr at the Breakfast buffet.
The breakfast was great and included. There's an attached spa. The ambiance in the hotel bar/restaurant is quite nice and it's right along the water which I appreciate.
The hallway lights on my floor would struggle to turn on when we passed by the motion sensor. The showers are a bit odd but I expected that to be the case so I wasn't too disappointed by that.
The location was perfect for wandering around Ísafjörður, with an easy walk to highly recommended Tjöruhúsið (Tar House). The breakfast buffet was quite good, and the staff kept very busy keeping everything clean and freshly filled. The room was clean and spacious, as would be expected from a typical business hotel.
The parking was a little awkward being next door, and the entrance through the restaurant while carrying luggage was also a bit awkward. Having only one elevator for a 5 (?) story hotel also seemed a little strange. It was also initially unclear where the “main entrance” was for the hotel. In general this tries to be a typical business hotel, but it misses the mark in some typical conventions.
Location. Nice bar. Pleasant Polish receptionist. Comfortable beds. Good bread at breakfast.
Rooms look tired. Carpets in corridor were water stained and ripped. Not enough power points in room. No dinner available during winter but maybe just as well as the breakfast was poor - tasteless eggs, bland cheese. Luke warm coffee and a grumpy waitress.
Perfect location for wandering around (but the entire town is easily walkable). The included breakfast is great! Way more options than expected. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
That we couldn't stay longer.
