The staff made everything for us to feel like we would be at home. Extremely helpful, nice and professional. Location is perfect, facilities on a good level.

The view is fantastic for sea view rooms. The staff is nice and helpful.

The room air conditioning would not work, and it was quite warm and humid with all the rain - they did bring me a fan, the balcony doors did not LOCK, and they knew they didn't lock, too, which is unsafe for travelers and their belongings. Room is dated, bathroom had mildew. Fridge was barely cool. They had to move me to another room because of air conditioning not working, but even though it had a better view, there was mildew/mold on several parts of the ceiling in bedroom, and in the bathroom. To really top it off, the breakfast buffet: I found a hair in the mushrooms, and no one did anything. One server gagged, and the other apologized, but neither of them removed the pan from the buffet. There is a gym and wellness center downstairs with indoor warm pool. I was happy to leave and go to another island. I had to eat at other hotels.

The sea view rooms are graced with a fabulous view of the bay and it’s rugged surroundings. It’s lovely to have a terrace to enjoy the view. The staff members were always present, very warm, welcoming and helpful. It was a plus that English was spoken and understood very well.The view from our terrace was beautiful, day and night. The breakfast was well set up with a good variety of offerings. The wait staff at breakfast were especially efficient and helpful.

There is limited parking, although usually spots across the street and up a little way.Also, the bathrooms could use a little updating and better lighting.

Location was amazing - close to everything we wanted to see during our trip.

Cleanliness - our shower had this brown residue in the floor. Management explained what it was and moved us to a different room. Online photos also didn't match the look of the hotel/rooms. The hotel definitely could use a upgrade.

Clean well equipped rooms. Beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast was very good, nice selection with great coffee machine. Easy walk to town and many nice restaurants.

Dead cockroach on the bedroom on the first day. 3 days to get our bathroom’s gel douche bottle refilled(and we had to ask for it). Could hear the guy in the next room snoring all night(insulation could be better). Missing indications to the gym. Staff usually nice. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Room size, bed confort.Most of the Staff really helfull and always happy. I need to give a shoutout to the Snack Bar bartender really funny and make us really confortable.

Male receptionist very serious and not very friendly, the rest of the staff all very friendly and helpful.

The safe & the hair dryer doesn't work. There was a large ugly patch in the bath tub.

Nice, clean rooms. It was our anniversary and a bottle of champagne was appreciated!

There was a bit of a musty smell due to the wet nature of the environment and the carpets, but that was more in the hallway.

The view was fantastic. The bus stop into town was right there. The staff was very helpful with information.

We wished there was some things that were walking distance.

The location was really good, right next to the see. The fact that had a private car park was also a nice bonus, since most of the public car park spots were full for the majority of the day. Really close to Angra do Heroísmo, you could go there walking, and at the same time, it's located in a quiet area.

The breakfast could have more diversity but other than that, it was perfect.

Our room was very good. Large, big balcony with a lovely sea view and quiet.Breakfast was adequate. Plenty of rolls, bread, jams and spreads, bacon, scrambled eggs. Large airy dining room with friendly staff. Very nice swimming pool with a pretty sundeck and easy access to the sea.

Bathroom is a bit dated. The net curtains need replacing, they are grey and torn. I had to keep asking at reception to have clean drinking glasses. Scrambles eggs were not very good. Only decaffeinated breakfast tea. Awful coffee from a machine.

The hotel staff were great as was the breakfast, pool and location. We had a water front top level room and the view was spectacular.

The room is dated and not very clean. Carpet is stained and bathroom floor and tile are dusted. Paper toilet is low quality. Bathtub was clogged. They put a few crumpled tissues inside a transparent box, which is not very hygienic since someone manipulated them. There are not working distance restaurants, only the hotel’s restaurant and bar. Once needs to make a €20 deposit in cash to have access to a swimming pool towel. Internet is slow.
