    Pros +

    • A new property with several meal choices including a Tex-Mex restaurant as a part of the hotel
    • Fantastic staff, super accommodating. They also upgraded us to a room with an extra bed, which was helpful as we travelled with a toddler. Location is really in the city center, and a 5 min walk to the beach.
    • Centrally located, great rooms with quality beds and facilities. Friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • All was good. Only slight drawback is associated with a location that is in the historical downtown, where parking can be a bit hard to find, and during weekdays is payable.
    • Nothing. Our stay was amazing.
    • The hotel has a restaurant downstairs. It is unbearable that the own hotel organises parties, karaokes until 2am or later, making impossible for their guest facing that area to sleep. It was really incredible. It happened the two nights we stayed at the hotel.

Location, friendliness of the staff, cocktail and restaurant,

Couple of noisy night or early morning.

    9MaggiePosted on: 10-22-2024

Rooms were large, clean, and well-appointed. Staff was friendly. Great location. Breakfast was a decent spread of options.

It's a kind of hotels that wants to have a cool style, but it confuses a concept of a good service as a boutique hotel with a hostel or youth hostel. The staff is young and very friendly but seems to me, (certainly through no fault of their own), to be scarce and ill-prepared for a good quality of service: the young receptionist had to be at her work place at the same time she should supporting the guests in the breakfast room, where no one was for help or check the service. My expectations were very good about this hotel because although I have know practically all in Angra do Heroísmo, that's why I want to try a new one: it is very new (opened last spring), very well located and accessible, but it is a little noisy, naturally because it has a bar and Mexican food restaurant, always crowd by young people. This is good, but.... Unfortunately we stayed in the suite on the first floor and we were woken up on Saturday morning at 9am by the very loud and shocking noise of a drill. The noise continued during the morning even after breakfast and after I complained. It doesn't seem very sensible, no matter how urgent it is to wake up the guests with repairs at the hotel, at saturday morning You should save it for later.....

In fact, the staff is very friendly and the room was always very clean and tidy every day. But these observations are to make the service better!

Very good location and decor (new hotel).

1 - I booked a queen standard room and (my fault) didn't realize that it was a "tiny" room. It was announced as a 15 sq mt room but the real one didn't even have 12 sq mt. The room may be ok for one person but not for two and it is definitely not a standard room, but a small one. It should be advertised as such.2 - The very modern AC unit has a remote control panel in the room that is always on and "illuminates" the room, really disturbing your sleep.3 - The bad experience was then toped with a domestic violence scene in the room next to ours - a huge fight and discussion close to 1 am. We had to inform the reception and it was only after the police was called that it calmed down. This is not the hotel's fault (and they seemed to manage it properly) but surely negatively affected our stay.

Location was excellent in the centre. Our room was large and breakfast had a good selection.

Hot food at breakfast needs to be kept warmer. If it rained we had to wait for a table at breakfast.

Overall, we loved this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. It is still very new and there is evidence of that here and there (few things still to resolve) but equally, it is all beautifully modern and immaculate. Staff could not be more friendly. Great that there is a bar/restaurant in the hotel if you don’t want to go out for dinner. Location in town/near sea is perfect. We would stay here again.

Breakfast a little hit and miss. Kept running out of things like bowls, milk, water in coffee machine. As soon as highlighted today staff, it was sorted so not a big deal in the grand scheme.

    9ErikaPosted on: 6-23-2024

Clean, and nice hotel perfectly located.

If you pay for a standard room, check-in luggage will not fit inside, cause the room is quite small.

    10AdedayoPosted on: 5-30-2024

Bright modern and in the center of Angra. Walkable distance to main attractions great breakfast and other food options in the hotel or nearby.

    Nothing to complain about

    9FrancescaPosted on: 5-7-2024

Wonderful location in a peaceful part of Angra do Heroismo. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, especially Lisandra who has made our stay memorable and make us feel comfortable and welcome right away. Comfortable bed, room has everything you need, breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommended.
