Azoris Angra Garden Plaza Hotel

The location. The staff was wonderful. Could it fit our plans to a T.

Location

Twin bed room was cramped & beds and pillows uncomfortable.

Location, pool, quality

Noise from the central square

The location is perfect. The rooms are standard and clean. Good value for money. The indoor swimming pool and the gym facilities were good.

The location was perfect as a base for our time in Terceira. The quality of the breakfast was acceptable but some of the hot dishes were overcooked.

The hotel feels outdated and could really use a refresh. The room, while overall mostly clean, lacked a clean feeling because the furniture and items within the room were very old.

Great location between the town square and lovely gardens. Great rooftop veranda where you can enjoy a drink & see the wonderful town rooftops and churches. Very good breakfast. Pleasant staff.

Really hard beds. Inadequate room lighting & electric outlets. Free lot parking up a big hill

Very centric nice place several restaurants very convenient and close tu the port

Hotel did not have own restaurant

Breakfast was plentiful, good choicesPerfect location for local festivitiesBack room very quiet Very nice having view of botanical garden at breakfast

Supper buffet tried once, only fair

This is an excellent spot in the middle of Angra do Heroismo. Staff are nice and the breakfast is good. The hotel has everything one wants for a visit to Terceira island.

No parking at the hotel, but there is both paid and free street parking nearby.

Great location, fantastic view on the garden, nice swimming pool.

The bathrooms need refurbishment.

Very nice breakfast, nice location and views from the room.

Location was perfect. Garden just in front of the Window was amazing!

Very small room with a tiny bathroom. Bathroom has not been renovated for a long time.

Full breakfast with protein, carbs and fruit. Very satisfying for a variety of dietary needs.

Efficient, newly remodeled, and well-appointed hotel right in the center of town. We had a great suite that was perfect for the entire family. We were accommodated at breakfast even though we came late and no one hurried us. A very nice and accommodating staff. Very nice pool and sauna. And a magic garden right in the backyard! The whole experience was a pleasant surprise!

The Azoris Angra Garden - Plaza Hotel provided a very enjoyable stay for me and my friends. The hotel is classic, clean and very close to many shops, restaurants and places of interest. Staff at the hotel were awesome, provided warm greetings and were attentive. We very much enjoyed the hotel's lobby bar, with knowledgeable and friendly bar staff. The hotel's location in the Praça Velha is ideally situated and in a charming area of Angra. The rooms, breakfast and pool/hot tub facilities were clean, organized and made for a wonderful stay. Thank You - Muito Obrigado. Fernando

I can honestly say that there was not anything that I and my friends did not like about our stay. There was a temporary technical issue with TV and internet access in the rooms for a short time, but maintenance staff were able to take care of it quickly.

The hotel is located in the very center of the city. Our room was oriented with a view of the square. Nice view, but a lot of noise from outside until the morning hours. Next time we would choose a room facing the garden. The breakfast was plentiful. We can recommend the hotel.

Great location. Loved the live music across the street in the plaza on a Sunday night. Nice to have a rooftop to sit. The breakfast is exceptional, and very well presented with regional fare. The gardens are gorgeous and so well maintained. We loved having a garden view from our room.

The only downside is parking (some distance away, typically), if you rent a car. I can walk without any problem, but it would be difficult for someone with mobility problems.

The breakfast was the only thing we liked about this hotel.

We had our room out front, and the noise level was horrific. We were woken up both mornings at 5:00 AM with the trash removal and the recyling trucks.

The location is beautiful. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Spa and thai massage excellent.

The beds are not comfortable at all. Coffee in the morning was awful. Little things would make a huge difference. Invest in the new coffee machine is important.

I loved the staff!! Specially the lady responsible for the breakfast ( I think her name is Carina) she was so sweet, so caring, always tried to make us feel good and welcome as she said in portuguese “ quero que se sintam como se estivessem em casa “ ? i loved it!

The room were very small and lack of sunlight but overall was good
