The bathtub did not drain

This hotel is fabulous and we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and accommodating. The rooms had a beautiful view and we're well appointed and comfortable.I want to give a special shout out to Dien. She was our waitress for dinner and breakfast and she was the most attentive and kind and smiling waitress I have ever had. Management needs to recognize her for her efforts.Having said that I would like to make some suggestions to make the stay here even better:1) hire somebody who can speak English. Thank goodness for Google Translate because I don't know what we would've done if we did not have the stool. This is a huge hotel chain that claims to have 60 properties in Vietnam but there was not one person here who can speak English and that makes it very uncomfortable.2) we had a couple of encounters with dirty silverware, dirty plates, and the morning orange juice container that had watermelon seeds floating in it.3) clean the carpets in the bedrooms. The comfortable chair had stains on it and there were several stains in the carpet.It is my responsibility to let you know that there are a few things that can be improved although the overall experience was fantastic .

Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was clean and tidy and comfortable.

As it was off season, the pool was closed. The gym had very limited equipment, didn't match the photos. There was very limited food and drinks available in the hotel. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us with whatever they had available.

the surroundings of the hotel used to be very nice with plenty of restaurants and bars at the beach front. For a reason beyond my comprehension they have demolished all that made the beach so nice.

The view is fantastic. I can see the sea and mountain and the city through the window.

The pool was close during our trip.

Room was clean and very spacious. Location is right across the beach front.

Breakfast was included in the price, however due to Lunar new year, the regular buffet was replaced with simple bread and omelet, or beef noodle, so the room is quite overpriced.

Close access to the beach

No facilities working: no swimming pool, no bar, no feeling of a 4 stars hotel.Room is just ok, need renovation. Breakfast is very simple, only vietnamese dishes, no fruits, no pastries.Staff not helping, not much caring. I simply asked the reception staff to call us a taxi at check put and she said "here is the number, do it yourself."
