Cons -
- No integrity, deceiving customers: There is no bathtub in the bathroom of room 202, only a shower. After taking a shower, the whole bathroom was flooded, which was inconsistent with the photos on the Internet. No sense of security: One afternoon, I hung a "Do Not Disturb" sign outside my door, locked the door, put the key in the lock from the inside, and went to sleep in my room. Suddenly, I heard someone opening the door of my room and the key shaking. After the person outside couldn't open the door, the one left.Suspected of falsifying high-scoring reviews: When I asked booking customer service for compensation because the bathroom photos did not match the actual situation, the customer service forwarded my message to the hotel. The hotel required me to give a 10-point review before giving compensation. If the score is low, the compensation will be low.The original message the hotel sent me is as follows: Good morning. As we see you have a complain about the room, but the hotel during the Rose Fest is full,so we couldn"t move you to another room. We see that you want a compensation,so we agree to do that for you. Booking.com is waiting for our response,so kindly ask you to give us the highest rating ,which is 10 points,so we agree to compensate you more. If you make a low rate the lower will be the compensation. I booked a month in advance and the hotel replied that there were two single beds and underground parking spaces, but in fact it was two single beds, a shower room, no bathtub, and three days of street parking.
- The interior is a bit kitch, and the bathroom floor is too slippery and dangerous. It's listed as underground parking, but the parking is a joke, extremely narrow even for standard cars. The other parking is on the street.

A very strange experience.I chose this hotel because of the very high rating it got, 9.2. I find it difficult to see how this high rating came to being...Let's start from the best part of this hotel: The staff. They are WONDERFUL! Always do everything they can to help you, really kudos to them.Another good point is the cleanliness of the hotel, it is very good. All the rest is dubious. The hotel does have free parking places, only I don't know how many. Maybe three, maybe 5. In any case, there are much more rooms in the hotel than that, so don't take free parking for granted. The hotel offers breakfast for 20 Lev that we didn't use, so I can't say how good it is. You can get a nice breakfast in the nearby bakery for lessThe room we got was rather small, but the crazy thing was the bathroom. The shower was not isolated by anything from the rest of the bathroom. The draining is on the other hand in the center of the bathroom floor and therefore when taking a shower the whole floor of the bathroom is flooded. You might find yourself standing in two centimeters of water. apart from the strangeness of this, being over 70 years old, it is a clear danger for us of slipping. We have changed eventually three rooms, all three had the same issue, so "it is not a bug, it is a feature"....We disliked this "feature" very much and hence the low rating, despite the wonderful staff.
It was right next to a huge walking mall full of cafes and shops. Walking distance to the Thracian tomb. Across the street from the Ethnographic museum. Wine and beer available in the lobby.
Noisy traffic. Happily, it died off around 20:00
great location, nice room, clean
the receptionist was not able to provide much help in regards to open stores, restaurants or attractions.
Excellent location - in the center, next to the pedestrian zone, at a walking distance from all landmarks. Easily accessible by car, has an underground garage and public parking nearby. The rooms are clean and cozy, although a bit small. The breakfast is on demand, several options, all abundant and tasty. The staff are friendly.
The location is right in the center of the city, right next to the main street and main walking area, easy accessible
There are a couple of hotels reserved parking spaces, but if someone has parked and is not a hotel guest, the staff will direct you to a paid parking lot further down the street ˝because they can't do anything˝. If you're lucky, you'll find a person who speaks English at the reception, you'll get along somehow, but don't have any expectations during the night shift (the translator on your mobile phone will hardly be of any help). All the glamor decor in the room does not diminish the fact that the glass behind the curtain needs to be washed sometimes, that the floor between the bed and the wall can be vacuumed, not only the path that is most often walked on, that the tiles in the bathroom do not have shower gel residues on the wall (if it was) ...for that level * more cleanliness and attention to detail is expected, the maids are obviously not up to par or no one checks them. Furthermore this town is basically center or starting point of many tours for roses festival so staff should know more than their native language, but ofc it all on view point how do you wanna sell yourself.
there was no free parking for my car, even tough the title of the listing said that there is free parking. In reality the hotel has only 3 parking places for all its guests. I find this misleading.
Spacious, luxury and clean studio. No complaints. Comfortable with 2 aircos adn flat screen TV with IPTV, giving an oportunity to pause, rewind and fast-forward. Very polite staff - congratulated us for the wedding especially. :) Clean bath-hub.
Basically nothing. But the first night a company was accomodated in the middle of the night, obviously all of them drunk as a skunk. Lots of loudy conversations, yells accross the rooms.... wasn't pleasant. Should avoid accomodating drunk people. Don't fit.
Super location, in the very center of the town. Friendly staff, easy check-in already at 12 o'clock. We were given an umbrella when it rained. Nice decoration, clean room. Would come again.
Just a small recommendation- key and card for opening the room door could be one device.
Right in the city centrer, parking available.
Room smelled like it was heavily smoked, even it is a non smoking room
Very good location, free parking available, lift available, plenty of space
Great location, new building with plenty of interior decorations, bold colors and gold, clean rooms.
Not soundproof. Strange synthetic bedding with lots of static, overall not much quality sleep.
Superb location right in the centre, super friendly and helpful staff, parking underneath the hotel.
Staff are very nice. Good location right in the centre of town with convenient free parking.
There was a strange noise constantly in my room. I think it was 3rd floor room 15 maybe? The TV did not work in the room. The area is too dark in the corridor, the lights which illuminate when it senses movement are not effective enough leaving you stumbling around in the dark
Overall it was clean and in good state.
Being unable to use bathroom additional feature in the last day of my stay. Extremely impolite for such a price and at the end of the stay.
The room and service were absolutely brilliant. The hotel is centrally located with access to everything you'd need in the town. Staff are very professional and attentive. I would highly recommend the Diamond Hotel.
Not great.
Smell of old tobacco. Unpractical bathroom with a messy shower over the toilet with water flooding outside the room. Overall it’s a very average hotel.
