View amazing. Rooms amazing. Balconies. Game room. Sauna/hot tub. Boat rentals. Restaurant/bar.

The drive up there. Frightening up the mountain. They don't explain the white-knuckled drive to almost death to get to the place. Nothing to really do but game room, boat rental and dam tour. Far from everything.

The breakfast is better than most you’re going to get at a US hotel. If you walk down to the boat dock it’s a good view.

Rooms carpet was old, balcony was not big enough needs remodeled. Bears are there, 3 sound grenades went off while staying there. Woke me straight awake.

The location is one and only, also SPA services are already included in the stay price

The pillows were not comfy for me and my bride, though it is subjective to our taste

Great location and beautiful view, nice pool and sauna, kitchen is good with many options of food for dinner.

The spa was amazing, we got a massage each and it was incredible. Along with an indoor heated pool and 2 saunas (wet and dry) were incredible. The breakfast was pretty good, the view and location are great!

The only option on booking was a twin room (2 single beds), we asked and their policy is not to offer queen\king sized beds unless you specify it on your reservation. The beds and pillows could use a refresher

The hotel is located at a stunning spot, 100m from the Vidraru dam, the view is breathtaking. The rooms were neat, cozy and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful - gave you the feeling that you are welcome. Breakfast was rich but not fancy, good healthy stuff.

We stayed only one night after driving along the astonishing Transfagarasan road. If you plan to stay more, make sure to carefully plan what to do there, as far as I understand you can't just walk around with the brown bears in the neighborhood.

The rooms weren’t clean enough and smelled bad (smell of cigarettes and perfume)…The breakfast was poor.

Excellent service. We wanted to pay for an upgrade and we got it for free. Awesome room facing the lake. Very friendly employees. Nice food. Nice brekkie and comfy bed. What could possibly go wrong? We will definitely come back ?

The pictures on the website undersell this hotel! It's no luxury hotel, but it's very nice, clean, beautiful location on lakeside with a nice restaurant, outdoor tables to have a drink (or meal), solid breakfast, nice shower and clean, simple rooms. Ours had a little patio, and major upside - screens (!) in the patio door so we could leave our door open overnight and get mountain fresh air without bugs. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Exceeded our expectations. One recommendation is to update and improve the website! The pictures and layout don't really convey the scope of this place and its amenities. For example, we didn't know there was a restaurant at the hotel - which is great if you're driving and need a bite to eat and don't feel like heading out on a drive.

Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, in a gorgeous lakefront setting providing impeccable service. The breakfast was delicious and staff was outstanding. This is one of our favorite places to visit whenever we visit Romania. We also saw a few bears on our drive to the hotel which made our trip exciting.

Chicken in the restaurant in 2 separate dishes was really hard to chew and the fries seemed not really fresh.

Location is perfect for travel the Transfagarasan road.The hotel have everything you need to rest in and feel comfortable.Have Indoor pool & SPA rooms, billiard play room.Plenty of free parking, great breakfast & diner was good. Clean room & bathroom.The view to the lake from the breakfast area is amazing.

We love everything.It's have a great potential to redesign its looks to more up-to-date feel but its keep its original design since its build in the 60s

Big nice room, nice restaurant, good view, very clean

It was the end of the season, not a lot of guests and the place was a little empty and quiet. In breakfast most food was almost over.

Excellent hotel for a two-three-day holiday in nature. Swimming pool, sauna, hamam. Excellent restaurant, excellent service.

Additional services - boat and ATV rides are poorly organized, there is little information.

exceptionally well situated with staff members helping from the moment that we were looking to park our car, having dinner & drinks, and getting a couple extra items :-) through to departure. The location is superb for many local attractions and exciting drives. Thank you!
