Regenta Resort Soma Vine Village

The room was good, but i think it was the last room left and we arrived early at the resort The wine tasting was good they showed up the entire process of how it is made very knowledgeable, evening was good had live show, morning breakfast was good.

Reception people were not at all welcoming, we reached the place around 11 am the reception people did not even bother to check with us after so many of follow ups we finally got the check in around 2:30 pm our timing was 2 pm, I feel people in the reception should be trained about guest service since it adds the value to any resort, even room service was not good, we asked for a bottle around 10:30 pm at night but we followed up again next morning post that we got it.

The location and the calmness.The service of staff and manager was good and helpful,they upgraded our room also.

It was very good when visited three years ago but now the property doesn't have the same vibe,it wasn't well managed in terms of cleanliness.

The stay is wonderful so is the staff and amenities and the wonderful breakfast

Overpriced restaurant food with extremely slow service.

property was not as it use to be in the past it should not be listed on this portal they were insisting we cancel this booking done on booking.com when we went to check soar they will upgrade to good view room as we said no they deliberately made the family wait for more than an hour and did not allocate the upgrade room because we did not cancel the reservation made on booking.com

the upkeep was poor, the restaurant had limited options for food on the menu the preparation of food ordered was exceptionally poor in flavor and taste we paid for having a birthday surprise and finally ended up getting a surprise our self for the very poor food quality and service

More facilities to spend time in the resort.I got takeaway food on my way back, it was not good. But food while staying in resort was good.

Facility location and ambience.

Facility and restarurant charging 18% GST on food bills. Even they are charging additional service charges on food bills which is not allowed. After bring to their notice, they exclude from final amount. If anyone to missed out to check the bill, they are simply charging service taxes on food bills.

Location wise it is pretty good.

By watching the photos and videos I and my family expected a lot here,but the resort is very small and it doesn't have basic things to lift.The food is not so good and prices are very high and even if they charge a 10% service charge,it was mentioned as optional but if anyone doesn't observe it they are automatically paid with a service charge in the bill.dont expect more in wine tour,we thought they will show us over all factory.overall I can give 2.5/5.

Great property, lush green. Room was very clean and staff was very polite and helpful. Learnt new things regarding wines and wine production.

The staff was not good the check out was 11-12 and when I called to check if I can checkout by 12 they said no no you have to check out by 11 itself and later when checked with the manager he said please go upstairs and sit I said my mom won't be going up and down coz of your communication gap he then said because she is from North East so she didn't understand I said that is not right on his part to discriminate against gender state or nationality it was a disappointing experience . Also I had informed I am not looking to pay a service charge as it's not necessary however it was on my bill and when I checked on reception she said no ma'am it is removed but when I calculated the bill it was still there and money was taken. And the receptionist lied to me

Ambience of the property was really excellent

Cleanliness of the Pool could have been better . Entry water body was not cleaned at all , could have been maintained better. Can be visited again for a holiday for leisure.

The view outside the rooms was good.

Rooms were not up to the mark as per the price, not clean or the walls if you see were dirty.The area outside the restaurant where there were tables were very unhygiene. Dead flies were found under the table that was the level of cleanliness.We ordered sandwich and bread butter, they were not even served hot. Anywhere in the world you get hot sandwiches except at Regenta.They said it was just prepared. I dont know if it was just prepared then why was the food not hot????Also the food was very expensive as per the quality.I was in Radisson for 2 days it was nearly same rate but worth the price

Poor management , extra Bed for a 3rd person was a mattress on the floor : no property of this price range will make people sleep on the floor after charging a premium for the 3rd person , the staff accommodated by putting 2 mattresses to make it higher but that is not the solution; the extra mattress were dirty and torn ; the rooms are sub par with low maintenance , breakfast service was also ok, the hot water dispenser for coffee had cold water , we asked them to bring us hot water and the kettle given to us had dirt inside , basics are missing at a property like this , if one has to pay 8k a room per night , a few basics are expected which was completely missing , booking.com ref property pics had a gym pic but at the checkin we were told there is no gym , staff is ok but overall the rooms are run down and not value for money

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Whatever you ask for they always try their best to deliver and accommodate. Indian food was very nice and tasty(avoid the Chinese food they tasted very bad). Walking distance to the winery.

Property is in urgent need of renovation as most of them were old and don’t work as intended including taps, blinds, drawers, etc. They also need to look after cleanliness. Also they should consider to have the swimming pool heated as it gets quite cold. Even the gaming room equipments were badly worn out. Cleanliness was another aspect, everything seemed very dusty, rusty or dirty in general.

Room was spacious, staff was friendly, food was great, location is good, although far from city.

Housekeeping Service was extremely to respond. Had to call up reception most of the times.
