Ashton Hotel

I thought the bathroom was spacious and eloquent. I liked the bidet and design layout. The bed was exceptional. I really felt it was comfortable and slept well.

I thought the rugs were a big worn and dirty in the room and hallway. It was particularly bad near the elevator entrance with visible white stains? I think a new rug is needed for both because they seem worn down and have a lot of stains.Additionally, the wall where the TV is mounted had many scuff marks up and down the white wall. I am guessing this is from previous guests putting suitcases along the wall? It needs a new coating of paint.I think if these problems are addressed, the facility can maintain an exceptional image.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. It has a parking lot, which is a great convenience. Due to my job, I frequently travel to Ulsan, and this hotel makes my stays effortless—I never need to look for another place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I haven’t encountered any issues during my stays. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again next time.

The size of the room, the cleanliness and the location of the accommodation was outstanding. The staff were welcoming, helpful and kind. I liked the facility of the room (hairdryer, more than two towels, charger etc.).

The only thing I would emphasise is that the heating of the floor and the matress can not be adjusted manually. On the first night, the matress was too warm but it can be only my personal reference.

Use of the pool was a little unclear

The staff on the reception desk were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a top floor corner room and had brilliant views of the city. Bed was comfortable; I slept very well every night and it was nice to have a bathtub as well as a shower to soak in.The location of the hotel is very good. Buses on the main road outside City Hall will take you to Ulsan KTX train station in about an hour and also to Taehwagang station in the opposite direction. Ilsan Beach is probably just over an hour away as well by bus.There is a really nice coffee shop a few doors along from the hotel and a 7/11 convenience store on the corner if you need to buy snacks or top up your TMoney card.I enjoyed my short stay at Ashton and I would come back again if visiting Ulsan.

Really nice view and the room was bright and clean, very spacious and comfy. There’s a swimming pool in the rooftop and few restaurants as well. There was always someone at the reception and the staff were kind.

We found a big cockroach in the bathroom, but other than that everything was perfect.

Location is accessible to public transportation and market.

Power supply suddenly stop working, all the lights turned-off esp in the bathroom so we couldn't take a bath thank you for the nice staff bec. she allowed us to use the bathroom in the upper floor, but it's quite uncomfortable moving from one room to another room just to take a shower. Hoping you can fix this problem for the next guest.

We had brunch sets in the restaurant for about $20. The lady in charge was diligent and kind. Our brunch consisted of a plate of French toast with cream cheese and coffee and another plate of toast and sausage and scrambled eggs that both came with black coffee. We had thought it was a bit pricey but the taste was very delicious. We recommend trying it if you want to stay in the hotel to relax. The ambience of this place is lovely.

It was our first time there... but, upon arrival, the hotel front desk staff on duty at the time seemed irritated with my friend and me when we asked about the parking and when we were checking in. We tried to understand them as having a difficult day (as two of us had also worked as hotel staff in Jeju). However, I think she could have greeted us more kindly. The staff member at check out was kind with helping us check out and get our friend’s car from the parking structure from an automated machine. It is because of her that we felt better about the service. She smiled warmly and spoke in a sincere, friendly, and patient manner.

The hotel was nice and standard. We got what we paid for. The bathroom was very nice and so was the layout of the room. Would stay here again upon visiting Ulsan.

We couldn't work out how to control (turn down or turn off) the floor heating. Our room was uncomfortably hot and we arrived late so by time this was a problem there was nobody to help on reception. The only solution was turning on the AC to counteract the heat. I'm still curious to know how it could have been turned off! Sadly a waste of energy but the problem wasn't the end of the world. Also, the bidet functions on the toilet didn't work which was a shame.

Comfy bed and pillow. Spacious room. Windows can be opened. Quiet. Nearest bus stop station is 시청, indeed the hotel is situated just opposite the City Hall, convenient bus access. (The bus to Ganjeolgot has long interval like 1 hr, please check the schedule ahead.) convenient charging - cube on multi-port cables, USB ports, international wall socket. 7-11 convenience store near hotel.

The swimming pool got additional charge of 20000KRW, with time limit 20-30 mins per access. Pool is opened for 2-3 slots 3pm-9pm. Pool is closed on Tuesdays.Restaurant and cafe are closed on public holidays.

The view from the hotel was really cool, I had a corner room and really enjoyed watching the city panorama. Everything about the room was perfect, really clean and well equipped bathroom, bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the rooftop pool. Perfect location near City hall bus stop (almost every busstops here), perfect connection for KTX trains.

I am a night owl, and on holidays I wake up late, therefore the cleaning lady always skipped my room.

Friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out experience, clean restroom and easy access to public transport. There's also a cafe closeby with great coffee.

The room's carpet isn't enjoyable to step on, so wore shoes/slippers inside the room throughout my entire stay.
