Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort

Edgewater exceeded my expectations. The place is clean with US standard accommodations including hot water for showers. All the staff are for real warm and friendly treated my family like their own. Special mention to staff, Chef

Bring bug repellants. By the nature of the place (surrounded by water) it can get very buggy. I can just imagine during the wet season.

Staff was extremely courteous and professional and they have an amazing chef. You'll never want to eat anywhere else but at the hotel. The management as well went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.

No beach within close walking proximity

The resort is well maintained and in good overall condition. We especially appreciated having a well-run dive centre directly in the hotel, which made diving very convenient and enjoyable.

The main disappointment was the food. Prices were roughly twice as high as in BGC, but the quality did not match the pricing. The food was not bad, but at these prices the value felt off. Lower prices would be more appropriate.

Not much to say, simply perfect: the location, the spa, the food, but mostly all the people both at the diving center and the hotel!

We enjoyed the tranquility and the friendly staff. Everybody was very helpful (transport, dietary requests, etc). The dive masters are amazing, very professional yet very funny. The showed us some amazing dive spots and we saw turtles, sharks and much more.

We stayed four nights at Edgewater. We enjoyed it a lot, it's a small hotel on a very beautiful bay. First, the rooms are nice and clean, with a very comfy bed and a nice shower. Then, you can go diving on different times of the day, for example at 9 or 10 or also in the afternoon. They are very flexible and the dive masters are very nice, christian the boat driver is the best, very funny guys. The dive sites are very close by. The best thing of the hotel is the owner and his staff. They treat you like friends. We liked everything and would recommend to anyone who wants to visit sabang. Thanks for everything

Sensational location on the key of a bay of mangroves in Palangan - the best part of Puerto Galera. Can’t say enough good things about the quality of the service, the brilliant staff and the hugely hospitable owner.

Perfect Resort , very friendly, efficient staff , ready to solve every need . Great craic with Jeff the bar /restaurant manager . Food is tasty and good quality. Spacious , clean room with new quality bed linen and everything works !!!

It was time to leave !

We had an amazing stay at Edgewater! The facilities are fantastic, and the cats are so sweet! But without a doubt, the best part of our experience was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, and it was a pleasure being a guest there.It felt like a family. The snorkeling and island hopping team were wonderful, and staff members like Mary Ann and Nicole, who were always there to support us, were so kind and helpful. We're truly grateful for how easy they made everything!The morning staff were also amazing, and we loved spending our evenings at the beach bar, chatting with Yumi and Jeff. We can't wait to go back again!

Really good restaurant with great foods, possibility to pay by credit card, sustainability (refillable glass bottles, almost no plastic), really nice staff, possibility to borrow kayak, they also provide some snorkelling trips and diving

If you want somewhere chill and natural, you choose Edgewater please. And the room is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, they are really taking care about what’s your concern.

The location and facility was impeccable, the staff offered THE best service I have ever experienced. The food and drink selection is the right mix between "easy going" and more elevated - and absolutely delicious. Overall a fantastic experience!

Everything was great. Bed was comfortable, staffs were great and extremely helpful, food was delicious! I wish I tried kayaking but it was raining.

Just the payment process. Since paying via cc has an additional charge so I paid via bank transfer.

The staff were spot on and assisted us before, during, and after our arrival. It was really easy to communicate with everyone and they met all our requests and needs. The place was quiet and serene and we definitely enjoyed our stay

Diving experience was fantastic. short boat rides awayVerde Islands was an incredible experience; the coral reef was stunning, teeming with diverse marine life.service was phenomena I don't even have the vocabulary to discriberestaurant and bar with beautiful sunsets. super comfortable beds. Massages were greatRichard and Viktoriya were such wonderful hosts it felt like I was visiting distant family.

Staff, location, good both for diving or just hanging around…

The staff were really exceptional, Jeff, Nikka and Yumi and the rest of the staff really took time to get to know all the guests and provided arguably the best and friendliest service I've ever experienced.The location is beautiful, the food is good with very large portions.Two very sweet cats, I was told one was blind and the other stuck by their side <3

I had a garden and sea view room, which was great with the exception that the whole bar/outside seating area could see directly in unless the blinds where closed, making an awkward decision between any privacy at all or the views.On arrival there was a group at the bar, with one especially (I believe Canadian) being especially drunk, loud and obnoxious. I attempted to take a nap but could still hear him shouting from my room. It didn't seem like they treated the staff particularly well and very much ruined the serenity of what was supposed to be a quiet and relaxing few nights away for my birthday. I honestly wanted to leave after 30 minutes of arriving due to this, although fortunately this didn't reoccur during my stay. A very unfortunate welcome to an otherwise lovely stay.
