Value for the dollar and the Staff.

I was very disappointed with our stay at the resort. The facilities were not clean, and the overall sanitation was poor. Unfortunately, my nephew got sick with amoeba, which we strongly believe was due to the unhygienic conditions. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve cleanliness and safety for future guests

The staff at LaLaguna are particularly great, they helped organise transport to and from the resort and were very attentive to our needs as a party of 15.

Love the villas and the penthouse we booked so spacious and love our view. Staff are very nice too

the way how to get to your rooms we booked 6rooms and we’re all confused how to get there not enough elevator, it’s challenging for seniors to walk all the way up to their rooms but other than that it was good!

It was inclusive of all activities and loved the diving opportunity, the staff were amazing, facilities well maintained and food was amazing. Amazing view and great in room dining service with great portions. Staff very professional

The Spa facility needs some improvements

Everything in the hotel works well. If you're looking to dive in Puerto Galera this stay is hard to beat. Food and drinks are very good. Staff is awesome. They can organize a BBQ picnic for you on a beach in no time. We will be back.

Our stay was very good. Not much to complain about

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff including the housekeeping and maintenance team. They are always ready to assist your needs. I also loved the ocean view from the big balcony of our villa, it was amazing! We had a great time bonding while having a bbq dinner :) The 24 hour food order and amenities was also a plus for us. We liked that we can swim, play billiards and eat anytime :)

I think the stairs going to our 7th floor villa was a bit intimidating haha! The lift from the 3rd floor helped a lot with this issue. I just hoped the lift was on the ground floor. We ate mostly from the resort’s resto and we all feel as a group that the food was a bit too salty for our taste.

It was a beautiful hotel with an amazing pool and restaurant. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful.It is a bit out of the way - so keep in mind that you might need to walk a bit to get back into town, but everything is also available at the hotel.I would recommend getting the hotel provided transport to and from the port. They will come pick you up in a private speedboat from the main park of town

We were only planning to stay 4 nights and due to Typhoon Carina, we had to extend our stay one more night since the ferry service from Port Baletero to Batangas City got canceled. Anne, the front desk supervisor, was very helpful and gave us similar rate to the Booking . com rate. We had 2 rooms reserved: the premium suite and a standard room for our daughter. The premium suite was spacious and had a large balcony with sea view. The standard room is in the older building & had a small kitchenette. We had to switch room on our 2nd day since the bathroom had foul odor that didn’t go away after maintenance took care of it. The resort had a restaurant/bar and the prices are on the high side compared to the other restaurants in the area. The Chef was accommodating to my special requests. They offer happy hour from 5-7 pm. Cocktails and wine are 25 percent off. Our primary reason for visiting Mindoro and staying in this resort was for scuba diving. They have state of the art equipment. It rained during most of our stay. I only had 1 dive per day during the morning. My husband and daughter dove twice a day. The resort location is close to town which is convenient. The staff were very nice, helpful, and friendly. They were also very responsive to my inquiry prior to arriving at the resort. It was our first time in Mindoro and figuring out the transportation options was a challenge. Overall, we enjoyed our 5 nights stay in this resort at the end of July.

The only thing that we wished for was the resort accept credit cards without the 4.25 percent charge. One important factor to consider is there are no elevators and there are lots of steps going up and down to our room.

A shared balcony, for those with mobility issues remember there are steps to climb for the higher rooms.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable and had great views. The food and drink were great and the pool was lovely after a day in the sun and sea. The location was great, right on the beach and you could swim 2m or so from the steps up to the lobby area. I saw a turtle while snorkeling around 50m from the hotel! The tv in the room had loads of tv and films including some very up to date titles (I put this last as it isn't as important as some other details but it was nice to chill in the room on occasion with a good film!). Can't over hype Lalaguna Villas enough! If you are a diver or an aspiring diver this place is epic. I would love to go back and do a full diving course with them but just as a freediver doing my own thing or snorkelling with the family it was amazing!

The "1/2 day snorkelling trip" organised through the hotel with a local boat operator, was around an hour and a half long at most and the spots visited weren't nearly as good as the island hopping tourl which was on one of the hotles own boats.

Awesome facility. Delicious healthy food and cocktails.

Travel time to get there. 3.5h drive from manila> 1.5hr ferry..20 min tuktuk from main dock to small local dock..

Great hotel,Manager was professional , Mr lyaam, and Ja the diving instructor was so helpful ,As well as the other staff , I highly recommend the hotel.

The resort itself is magnificent.Wonderful location and just a walking distance from Sabang PG.All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring to my family. They help us to organise all the transportation on the way to PG and back to Batangas.The foods they serving in the restaurant is top class.It’s a very safe place for my children.Very family friendly.

Everything was just great: the hotel itself, clean and comfy room, delicious food, top notch dive shop, last but not least - staff is amazing! Great atmosphere and you are being looked after whatever help you need.
