Kuiburi Hotel&Resort

In its hey day this hotel would have been first class. But it is now decaying sadly. We had a great time though as practically the only guests there. The food in the restaurant was first class. We ate there for lunch and dinner. There was nothing else around the resort. The beds were hard and we were given only one pillow each. Shower was great. Pool was amazing. Grounds were kept tidy. The hotel could perhaps have a little shop to buy snacks and drinks etc. Coffee shop was closed and didn't find the gym.

Only one pillow each is a sign of a cheap hotel.

Good value - pretty place with a nice pool & beach. Full service restaurant & bar. Very quiet.

The restaurant staff were very friendly and good food.

The Checkin experience was bad. She made us wait for long.. Totally confused as we upgraded to a Garden villa for a total of 4 room nights.

Staff very helpful and kind. The hotel was pretty empty and still, they cooked a huge meal for us, all very delicious!

The building and facilities have seen better days, it’s all a bit old and needs a touch.

The rooms were really dated, very hard mattress and pillows. Beds not comfortable. Thank god the air conditioning worked otherwise the room was a sauna when we first got there. The breakfast and dinner service ended really early.

The staff are friendly and willing to help with all your requests. The room is spacious. The swimming pool is right in front of the beach although I didn't use it. The garden is well managed and punctuated with beautiful trees.

The sea and the beach is muddy. Just looking at it makes me feel frustrated to have driven 5 hours from Bangkok to see this sight. I know this is personally me because I'd seen good reviews about the sea here. Too bad this is not seasonal but all year round, according to the staff. What can be improved for the hotel is the bathroom in the delux room. The step down to the shower area is too close to the door so one could trip easily. As for the restaurant, we ordered a few dishes and one of them was fried fish in sour sauce which was way too fishy to eat. I told the staff and he apologized. This is where it got complicated. I used to come across situations like this from time to time and the way they respond to the problem tells apart average and excellent service. I didn't ask for a return but since we didn't touch this dish anymore after our first tries, an excellent host would have offered a return or a replace. None were offered here but apologize, so to me, this could be improved. Besides that however, the waiter was very tentative and helpful.

I was just passing through, so basically just showered and slept, so I cant comment on the facilities.Room is adequate, comfortable bed, kettle and fridge.

WiFi is one where you have to log into a portal, and get kicked off every hour.

Room was horrible dose not clean well, blanket flu of dust make all of us sneeze whole night, in toilet there was someone else hair before us, we check in at 23.40 AC does not feel cool at all it started having cool at 3.00am.Was horrible experience for me and my family

The pool adds another layer of enjoyment to an already incredible stay.Overall, I cannot recommend Kui Buri Hotel and Resort highly enough. From its stunning location to its impeccable service, this hotel deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. It exceeded all my expectations and left me with memories I will cherish forever.

The beds are quite firm, you could even say hardNot a negative, but be aware that since this area is not very touristy for feorigners the staff at various places may not speak english very well.

We only stayed for a night driving south to Surat Thani and there were just 3 other rooms booked when we were there. Kui Buri National Park is only a few kilometers away. Place is directly located on the beach, wonderful fine sand, pool right next with showers, very friendly staff, restaurant & bar next to beach, might need a bit make over some time, was probably 5 star before.

The hotel has a great location with a pool at the beach. The standard room we had was clean and spacy. The nreakfast was very good.

The building with the standard rooms is very close to the road and therefore quite noisy. The more expensive bungalows don't have this.

Nice bungalow with amazing sea view , huge pool area . Very friendly staff , good à la cartebreakfast on beautiful terrace near the beach !Very relaxing.

Wireless internet. Checking in every 45 minutes doesn't make sense.Breakfast just okay.

Overall a good place as far as value and service

It wasn't very clean compared to the previous time we went. In the area with the deluxe rooms, there was a lot of hair, dust and dirt on the floors.

The pool is nice, and that is all.

Room is not so clean, front desk staff are not so welcoming and kinda mean too, location is far from everything, breakfast and food is not good there.

The room, we had Ocean Villa room, exceptional.

The remotness, couldn't hire a car or scooter. Had to pay 800 baht for Hotel mini bus to collect us from.the train station.

-glass very dirty, still dirty from previous guest-very noisy from air conditioning and water pump (maybe not a pump but I think it is) all night, I couldn't sleep -I called to reception they asked me to change the room but I said no because another room got same problem, also they said guests complain a lot about this, I don't know why they didn't fix it -feel like I paid for the problem not for relax
