    Pros +

    • We liked everything. We had room 1 next to reception with see view. The garden is beautiful with a beach access. The room is spacious, well decorated and clean and the staff was super kind and helpful.
    • Room is big
    • . Very quiet if you want seclusion

    Cons -

    • I guess I expected the hotel be beach facing, instead we got a room, with a window that faces the beach. Our balcony does not even face nothing, the others like the one posted on the pictures have a balcony that has a “peak” view of the beach. For how much we paid, I feel like I could have gotten more
    • Beach was blocked by tarp fence and heavy equipment blocked the rest. No notice of this work and major inconvenience and distraction. Should be announced. No lobby or reasonable amenities
    • The only drawback for me was that the road to enter is private and bumpy in need of repairs. And was hard to find.

We had a nice stay at La Sirenita. Our room was very large but the bathroom very tiny and flooded each time you had a shower. I would recommend the downstairs rooms as there are outside patio areas. The hotel was value for money but definitely needs a tidy up. The staff were very friendly.

The rooms are old and bathrooms need to be improved so flooding doesn't occur when taking showers.

    Fantastic location, friendly staff.

Facilities were poor, dirty (mouldy) bathroom and average facilities for the price paid. We were asked to pay for a mug my child dropped upon check out. Given that we stayed six nights and spent a fair amount of money on the stay I was offended that we were asked to compensate the hotel for one broken mug.

Very close to the beach and also to the more quiet part of the beach.

Overall I'd advise not staying near Alona beach - it's too crowded and doesn't have enough nature around.

The staff were outstanding. So friendly to our family ❤️.

Not much, great location. Friendly staff. 2 comfortable beds. Overlooking the water.

The resort is only a few minutes from the beach which is perfect for an early morning swim. It's also a very quiet location but still near to many restaurants, shops and spas. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and cater for all your needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy rooms and close to the beach. Very good service and great staff.

Very hard to find and roads around the property were very rugged and dark. No dining area within property.

Property is very well located, close to restaurants and beachfront. Staff is very kind and accommodating.

The towels were a bit old and had bleach stains which I don’t mind too much about as long as they are clean.

    10juliePosted on: 3-13-2025

Everything.Quiet, clean, comfortable beds, good AC, hot water, even clothes rack or line to dry wet clothes. Most helpful and friendly staff. good location on quiet end of Alona beach 3 mins walk to restaurants.

The entrance from road is a bit difficult to find.

Location is close to the beach, nice view.

They forgot to confirm our transfer, almost missed our ferry. Thanks for the driver and there was not soo much traffic so we made it in last minute.

    10RobertPosted on: 2-28-2025

Quiet part of Alona beach. Close to the sea and night life. Great staff.

It was ok..not far from the beach but still not lile it is showing in the pictures..

    - From the moment we arrive from the back road ,we had a shock!!! ( looks very unsafe ) but then u see the front of the building...and is not on the beach like in photos, is near by... - Poor communication with the stuff when asking about the tours, noisy area ,there is working in progress by the beach, constructions are taking place. - We booked a room with balcony and there was no balcony , just a n outside corridor at the back.- There is no area to serve food and to be honest I saw the area at the back, doesn t look very clean. AC unit was not working well, towels & linen not very clean .. too expensive for what they offer , the whole island is too expensive.- They will ask you a deposit and to pay only cash the whole payment and at the end the deposit was not given back , only when I asked for it. But it was an experience.

    9AlexPosted on: 2-12-2025

Everything was perfect. Early check in. Very good service. Big windows and sea view.

Some construction activities are ongoing on seaside. Sometimes was noisy, but in general acceptable.

    9DanielPosted on: 2-12-2025

Quiet but with easy access to the beach. Big rooms.

The shower didn't have any flor partition to the rest of the bathroom so after showering the bathroom floor was wet. It did dry up reasonably quick thou.

    9JONGPosted on: 2-9-2025

The location, it’s peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Not crowded. The place is clean.

Too expensive rate for the extension. Per my experience on my travels and stays, standard rates are 300-500 only.

    9JONGPosted on: 2-9-2025

So far breakfast was good and like the location as not directly situated on the crowded beach.

High rates on extension of rooms as usually standard rate is only 300-500. Bumpy road going in to the location

    8AnnePosted on: 1-20-2025

The location is excellent. Easy direct access to Alona beach, but since it's at the end of the beach it is also quiet. Everything was clean as they clean the rooms everyday. I did however receive towels that looked quite old and had bleach stains on them. But since they smelled nice and fresh it was ok for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had great tips and allowed me to check out 20 minutes later at no additional charge. If the hotel made some small improvements it could easily be in a different price range, so for me it was worth it!

The shower was not very hot and only had a little bit of warm water. I couldn't really warm up after a day of diving. The were no plugs close to the beds.Breakfast is only served from 7 to 9 a.m. at an additional fee. The prices are very reasonable but I often had to leave before 7 a.m for excursions or slept until 9 am. It would be better to offer breakfast from 6 - 10 a.m.They will ask for a 1000 peso deposit in addition to having to pay the whole stay in cash. This means you need give a lot of time at check-out as they need to check the room before reimbursing you. They don't accept card payments (even for the room reservation) which given the large amounts is annoying (especially since ATMs on the island will not give you enough cash so you have to pay the ATM and conversion fees several times).
