Solea Coast Resort Panglao

I liked the standing water refill stations on each floor. That way filling up water bottles was easy and did not involve having to purchase a bunch of water bottles. Reducing plastic waste. I also loved the rooftop bar.

This hotel is not in town. There is not much to do around the hotel. For some reason door slamming was quite common. It is pretty loud especially very early in the morning. Not sure if the doors are just heavy and slam or...

Music starts a little early in halls. Generally like it but a little later is preferred.

The aircon is cold,

The staff in the restaurant is not well trained to accommodate guests. The foods has no taste. No bacon during breakfast. The bread is not freshly baked. The liquid shower soap is empty.

The beach had people there trying to sell us stuff. I understand people need to make a living, however, it made us want to avoid the beach and just stay by the pool.

Despite being a room which can accommodate 4 persons, we were still required to pay for additional 2 heads @1888 which other resorts here in Panglao only charge for the cost of additional breakfast for two.

I love the spacious room and the sea view.

Just the distance to Alona Beach and bars ,but there is available van service and tricycle if you wanna go out so it's not a main problem transportation is available all the time.

Large rooms with balcony. Roof top bar is great. Only issues, room smelt a bit on 1st day like it hasn't been used fir a while. Would have been nice if wired and cooled before being given as ready. Also need more vegetarian dishes on menu.

Has a small beach front but the view from our rooms are stunning. Plenty of choices for breakfast. And trully a family friendly resort. Staffs are accommodating. Certainly a good value for your money.

Expensive for what it is

It’s far from the center, you can’t swim at its beach so it didn’t feel like we went to a beach place, gets boring after the first day as there’s nothing around the hotel but houses, no entertainment, no aircon at the lobby and kiddie play area, the hallway is a bit noisy. There’s also a construction near the pool from the property next door so all the dust from it we can see it while we’re swimming.

Roof top bar was cosy and had a nice view over the sea.

Limited amount of sunbeds around the pool. The pool itself was a bit dated and the pool area a bit dull. The beach was not really meant for swimming and sunbathing.The breakfast was versatile, but the selection of bread and fresh fruits was limited. Plenty to eat, but high on carbs.

The breakfast buffet and the view from the room was excellent. Staff are very friendly & accommodating.

Upon checkin, the toilet had a funny smell.

The service was exceptional. From the lobby staff to the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist with a smile. Great breakfast selection as well.

The beach was not for swimming but the pool was great.

The bed was so comfy and clean ,room as well was clean and well decorated with modern furniture The breakfast was diversified and yummy ,the nest one I had during my stay in philippines without exageration Also the proximity to the beach and to Alona beach

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful , reception staff Beverly and kimberley were great, concierge staff , security , house keeping everybody. Food in the main restaurant was great and variety of options in breakfast , and staff were amazing.

The access to the hotel is very tight and always blocked by diving centres vans dropping people from other resorts. Also their beach is very small and limited and you can swim or sit there, It hardly accommodates 4 to 6 people.

? enjoyed breakfast, variety selected ? Kids loved the pool? friendly staff, greetings with smile any where? helpful & approachable security guard on duty for the parking spot? good experience for the complimentary drinks for the day, another taste of our buds?

?given the Resort name I entrusted the cleanliness of our beddings, I put into sleep my infant, it's good thing my other kid saw black insect (can't distinguish type of) crawling almost to the ear of baby, oh I immediately requested to change beddings/pillows/pillowcases.The staff only gave us two set of pillows?

The room is amazing its spacious and bigger than other hotels. Clean.

If you want serenity this place must be out of your list. Go somewhere else. The rooms are okay but the whole place is far from what i expected. Koreans everywhere and were too noisy on every corner of the area. I don’t want to give bad light on Koreans particularly but they are too noisy eveywhere on all tourist area and hotels. So if you really want the chill and relaxing vibes vacation on the beach go away from hotels that cater more with Koreans. They are too noisy and too messy. Just telling the truth. The beach is also not good for swimming. Lots of boats and algae around too dirty
