    Pros +

    • Quiet but in a great location, which was important to us given that Alona can be a bit crowded and noisy. Spacious room and bathroom, bed is cozy. The light switches near the bed was a particularly nice attention to detail — means we didn’t have to walk to switch off the lights when sleep. Balcony was also very nice.
    • Staff were friendly and helpful. Two swimming pools were perfect for a relaxing dip/swim. Restaurant was convenient to eat at after a long travel day or after a full day of adventure.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • Sewer like odor in the bathroom.
    • The 1st room they gave us was terrible. The bathroom smelled like septic tank. The Airconditioning unit was dripping with water and the sofa bed was soaking wet. We were transferred to their emergency room which had very rusty water running! They ought to check on their maintenance practices. Upgrade your facilities, please!
    • The room is tired and need of refurbishment. The door lock was annoying, but I quickly figured out you need to pull the handle inwards to get the lock to catch. Others have mentioned the road to the hotel. It is quite dodgy and water pools when it rains. It wasn't so bad though that I was worried about breaking my ankles. It is dark, but I didn't fond the road scary. The walk to the beach wasn't as easy or pleasant as you would expect from looking at how close it appears on Google Maps

Excellent friendly staff. Good swimming pools. Breakfast was decent, but it was good enough for me to want it ever day which speaks for itself. The room was spacious and right next to the pool. The bidet spray was leaking a little, but the staff quickly fixed it. Location was ok and in walking distance to restaurants, the beach etc.

The ambience is nice, room is clean and i love the seating area in the balcony. Staff were also accommodating and friendly.

The AC wasn’t cold at all, we have to switch on the fan all the time which I wasn’t fond of. I also didn’t like much that we got to walk so much to reach alona but that was my bad because I know already for a fact this was not a beachfront hotel.

Location is nice, very close to the road with lots of restaurants and Alona beach

The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. They work very hard. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pools were very nice and the pool table was fun. All the food we had there was good and the location was close to the beach.

There was music from the neighborhood got loud all night on the weekend.

The resort was really nice, big room with lots of shelves for clothes and storage for luggage. Pretty room color and decoration. The outside was also super nice and cosy. The resort is located in a good location in between the main busy road and the beach. Its a very good value for money and staff was also super friendly.

They had a nice pool and access to an even nicer pool in their sister resort.

The location was somewhat backward, which we couldn't realize before prior to booking.

Rooms were spacious. Facilities are great.

A lot of tiny ants in the rooms.

    9ElPosted on: 8-12-2024

The hotel was clean and incredibly comfortable. Everything exceeded expectations. I love the breakfast as well. Highly recommended!

The AC could be cooler, but the fan was a great addition.

Beautiful accommodation, great location close to alona but still peaceful and quiet. Friendly staff and an amazing staff at the poolbar in bathala during happy hour

Location: It's walking distance to Alona Beach and to the town centerResponsive staff: I asked for help regarding port pick up, island hopping tour and island tour recommendation and they were very responsive and helpful. The room was really clean and spacious. The bed was comfy to sleep in. There was a table outside with the view of the pool. A drying rack for the wet swimmies also at the porch area. The whole place looked really nice and relaxing. The pool area was also lovely.

We noticed there was a weird smell in the shower area when we first arrived. Couldn't really transfer because they were fully booked. So I had to request for a deodorizing spray instead just to make it bearable. I think the next day it smelled like cat poop so we had to spray the room again. They only accept cash or visa card with 3% surcharge. I paid cash and there was also an additional 12% tax on the booking price. Quite expensive and for a no free breakfast place as well.

great pool area. Amihan is coupled with the hotel Batalha next door so you can use both facilities

payment methods are a little bit confusing but no big deal

A lovely, quiet boutique hotel. Everything was clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool and general area. Quiet as set back from the beach, but still only a 3 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Nice little restaurant which was decent too. A very nice stay

    10SilviaPosted on: 5-31-2024

I like the rooms and the pool with the bar. We spent every evening from 6pm to 9 pm there just chilling, drinking cocktails while relaxing in the pool. Customer service was amazing. The pool and whole hotel was extremely clean.

Tour offered in the reception wasn’t good at all. But this is out of the hotel hands. Probably, it will be better to get other suppliers in future.

Really nice hotel, comfortable and staff are really helpful. They have provide a lot advise on what to do around which has made our stay in Bohol incredible. So far the best place we’ve stayed in Philippine. The food from the restaurant was also amazing. I really recommend this hotel

    8GracePosted on: 5-3-2024

The room was huge, and the beds were comfortable. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay. It isn’t too far from the beach and public transportation is readily available. It is also quiet at night which is great for those who prefer it.

The location is not so ideal. It’s not that easy to find and the road was beat up.
