Cliff Lanta Suite

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The view of the ocean was beautiful, the balcony bathtub was so relaxing, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

If you come to stay relax without kids, it can be nice but pricely.

I come with my family, one boy of 5 years old.The staff are really nice and helpful but the hotel condition is not really good. I will not recommand to come with a kid, there no playground or other small activities, this hotel is really expensive compare to other hotel with beach access, with my wife we check around and some was better so finally we finished to other hotel to enjoy their facilities. In there the beach access is really really dangerous and long.To be honnest i will not come bach there, however if there is a swimming pool, the price will be fair but not.

This was hands down the most beautiful view from an accommodation I’ve EVER experienced. It would definitely be a missed opportunity to skip Cliff Lanta! The private stairs down to the beach is so convenient and of all the beaches we visited, the one connected to the property was our favorite. It was so quiet, we felt like we had it to ourselves even though there were a few other people there. The location was great, it was easy to get to everything with a scooter and the breakfast is also splendid. I will be recommending this place to EVERYONE! Amazing and helpful staff as well.

The view was amazing. Staff were very helpful and made our stay easy and relaxing. Free breakfasts made to order were awesome!

The room had a heavy smell to it. Bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The view of the sea hands down, but also the small details like having HOT water running at all times, insanely helpful staff (Wang is his name), even the breakfast was great and beyond my expectations for a smaller scale resort like this

I enjoyed my stay here so much. The view from my room was gorgeous. I could hear the ocean late at night and early in the morning and could watch the sunset from my bed. The bed was very comfortable; I woke up well rested every morning. The food was phenomenal with a fairly extensive menu (making it even more impressive how good all the food was). With direct access to the beach, I could easily go swimming multiple times a day. The steps are a bit steep, but that's definitely in the nature of the location. There are no dedicated lounge chairs, but each room is provided with multiple beach towels in addition to the regular linens. I'm a bit of a lazy vacationer, but the staff had extensive resources and connections for tours, cooking classes, island hopping, snorkeling, and plenty of other activities.

There is not a single critique I have that relates to the property, the service, the food, the room, the scenery, or anything else that would be in control of the management or the staff. Everything that could be under human control was phenomenal.

Big bacony with amazing 180 panoramic view and sunset . Staffs were very nice and helpful. Beside, breakfast here is very incredible. I will back here again. Beside, here is very quiet which good to be relex.

Far from convenient stores and high stairs from the beach to hotel

The staff was more than willing to help make sure my stay was flawless. (Even When I added extra night & they made special accommodations) then also for the next day transfer to Phuket. The food is delicious and breakfast included which is nice as I didn’t have transport. The view of the sunset from private porch’s are amazing. Just do it ;)

lol, the cicadas could calm it down a bit at night so I can keep my door open bahaha ? kidding - no complaints!

Everything else! The room was small, large gap under bathroom door which led outside, lots of bugs, insects could get in and was in the trees so they would. The stairs to the beach are a death trap. If you are afraid of weird insects landing on you going down, you likely could fall and would be very bad if not fatal. They should be blocked off! No real lighting around. The kitchen where they cook is literally right at the entrance and did not look clean. You have to submit your breakfast order before 9 pm and if you forget, you are on your own. We did not stay, we did not feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We found another place.

Clean, nice room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Astounding sea view from room and terrace. Placed in the best possible area on Koh Lanta.

There are no lawn chairs/sunbeds on the terrace and beach. Very expensive.

The panoramic views from the room were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great- you can walk south to Diamond Cliff for drinks or Nui Bay Beach or go down the stairs and north to Bakantian Beach and visit the bars and restaurants there.

Some previous reviewers complained about the lack of lighting at night on the long staircase leading to the beach. This has since been addressed. We had no complaints.

This was a gem of a little place built into the cliffs on the west side of Koh Lanta and I’m so glad we found it. We had a deluxe kingsize room looking out over the ocean with a bath on the balcony. The sunsets were amazing from there. The room was spacious and well set out with an en-suite including a shower in addition to the outside bath. It was clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The beach was accessed by a set of approximately 120 steep concrete steps down and the descent was worth it. A quiet and peaceful end of a beach stretching north to a more vibrant area with beach bars and restaurants where you can sit and watch the sun go down. The hotel has its own restaurant serving pretty awesome breakfasts included in the price of the room. The dinner menu was great; I understand that the chef has some experience in Europe and has created a series of fusion dishes that are worth paying a little extra for. The staff were super friendly and spoke English well. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect.

It’s a little worn looking from the outside. I’m not sure it was mosquito proof from the outside but we didn’t suffer from any.

Fantastic view from the cliff top. Quiet location. Very nice staff. Good dinner menu. Bbq fish available fresh. Good AC. Another good nearby restaurant and beach. A week was maybe too long but it was different and interesting.

Steps down to the beach seem to stop one from accessing the water more readily. Breakfast menu is rather unusual. Very hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the verandah. No shade so had to stay inside.

Amazing location with spectacular sea views. Very quiet room and we really appreciated the superb aircon and smart TV so we could watch Netflix.Food was excellent.

The food at the hotel was really good. We only ate one meal outside of breakfast because we were wanting Thai food but it was really good. The breakfast was really good and got lots of food. They didn't skimp out on the amount of food.

The sheets on the bed and bathroom were not cleaned well when we arrived. They quickly changed out the sheets while we hit the beach, so although it would have been nice to have a clean room at least they acted quick to fix the problem. The other issue I had with the resort was the grounds of the hotel. The stairs down to the beach were steep and treacherous with unfinished concrete and limited lighting. One night we went for dinner on the beach at a restaurant and felt walking on the busy road was safer than the steep unlit stairs. Would have been nice to have better access to the beautiful beach. If the grounds were cleaned up, add some lighting to the stairs, and add some umbrellas and chairs on the beach this place would be great.
