Nautilus Right On The Beach Resort Adults Only

Amazing hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was adorable. Breakfast was delicious and cheap! (~ $8 for 2 people) There is a beach with a bar for guests to enjoy, a great way to spend sunset. Will definitely go back

We liked the food and the size of the resort we really liked the people who run the resort liked out door washroom

The bed was very uncomfortable and somebody was burning garbage in evening

We loved the quiet location, the foodand drinks and the happy employees.

The bed was quite hard but that seems to be the case everywhere in SE Asia.

Perfect beachfront location at southern end of Long Beach. Some rocks right off beach but no problem to navigate on sandy areas. Very quiet location with just a short walk to the main street and a mile of restaurants in either direction.Every staff member had good communication and could anticipate and meet any need. Restaurant there offers good food with sea view.Property is kept impeccably and is gorgeous with well lit gardens. Good rooms with everything you'll need.

Bathrooms are open so mosquitos can be an issue but front desk has mosquito zapper you can use so problem was solved.

The staff. Kyle not have been friendlier. Great breakfast. Massages were wonderful.

Some drivers get lazy and drop you on the main street instead of to the resort, but that is on the individual driver, not the resort. Breakfasts are great, but a bit expensive.

Everything was fantastic! Great location, right on the beach but close enough to main road if we wanted other restaurants. Really peaceful, particularly at night. Bungalow was very comfy- nice big bed, great tiled bathroom, cushions for the porch. Everything clean. Staff is AMAZING! The receptionist, AmPrang, was super helpful all the time and always with a great smile. Chaya, (manager?) was also really helpful and checked in with us regularly to make sure we were good. The food was yummy. The beach bar was chill and we could always get a lounger. The beach is small but certainly enough. It’s rocky when the tide is out but doesn’t stop the swimming and fun to look for shells etc. When tide is out, swimming is excellent. Great massages on the beach too! Honestly, we spent a week here - diving, exploring the island and Chaya and Nautilus felt like home! But better! ?

Everybody was so friendly and they really took care of me. For example, I arrived from my flights after the restaurant closed, but they still offered me a nice dinner.. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable with loungers both inside and out, and the view on the beach was very nice, although the resort is located at the rocky end of long beach.

Note that the resort is at the end of a long dirt road that can flood. During the rain, expect to get your feet wet.

Breakfast: not too much choices, but fresh and tasty.Locations is great; quiet and beautiful views. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Small resort right on the beach. Staff was wonderful. We loved all the birds in the morning and the mojitos on the beach after a long day exploring. A nice balance of comfort and real Thai charm.

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, lots of loungers by the beach for hotel guests only (and staff were good at enforcing this rule by asking visitors from the beach to sit elsewhere), good massage service, reasonable Happy Hour pricing, easy scooter rental. The beach access was fine - and you do need to walk a few hundred meters North past the special sticks to get to an excellent walking beach. Swimming is fine at high tide but watch out for rocks. The swimming is better just up the beach or beyond the rocks.

Breakfast options seemed limited (was easier to just get some fruit and yoghurt from the street) and no coffee in reception whereas other hotels often provide coffee for small charge or free during the day. I gave this feedback to the manager. There was a very annoying bird (the most annoying bird in Thailand called a Koel) who loved to make noise as early as 430am. It didn't bother me at all as I sleep through anything. I also wasn't bothered by the regular call to prayer that the local mosque was broadcasting on speakers. It was far away. Some guests really didn't like the bird. These birds are everywhere and even in Bangkok, but you'll start to think they are following you around the country. He wasn't there every morning so it's not really a big deal and it's nature so deal with it ;)

Right on the beach, a beautiful setting. Just no pool! But we knew that going in. It was great here, and the main staff spoke great English. The breakfast was great, and you could get lunch/dinner at the bar, which was pretty good too. Short walk to other restaurants.

We loved how quaint and cozy this resort was, surrounded by the sounds of nature and just steps away from the ocean. The rooms were clean and stocked with everything we would need, bed very comfortable, and in a relaxing environment. I loved the beautiful outdoor bathroom and being able to take a cool shower listening to the birds!

We thought it was perfect for the price!

The staff was amazing. Maprang went above and beyond to help us out with taxis and a private driver for a a day. Breakfast was made to order and delicious.

Great huts in beach front location. Need to walk along to beach to swim.

No pool but it said so . However too warm without pool to sunbathe. Water had jelly fish in it .

Nautilus was just what we needed in the middle of our hectic travels. Chaya was wonderful and helped with booking transfers and trips during our stay. It was a little slice of paradise. Our only regret was not staying longer. Would highly recommend to someone looking to get away from the madness on busier islands.

Adults only!!! So quiet!!! The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and spoke good English. We had a massage in the garden by the bar and it was very relaxing listening to the sea. The air con in the room was very effective. The bathroom is “outside” although there is a roof there are no windows. I liked this quirky feature. The food was good we ate here a couple of times our main meal. The breakfast was as much as you want to eat a la carte style for 250B. (About £5) we travelled by car to Koh lanta so were able to travel around the island which was beneficial. The sunsets were fabulous!!!

Someone with poor mobility might struggle to get up the steps to the beach hut style rooms as there was no hand rail and the steps quite high. It wasn’t a problem for us. Personally I would have liked to have gone in the sea to swim from the property but even at high tide the many rocks made this unsafe. However, the location of the hotel and rocks meant it was very quiet and not much passing you on the beach. A short 5 minute walk along the beach made the swim possible and it was delightful!!
