Friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent location

My family and I stayed for four nights right before Christmas. The hotel bungalows were beautiful, the breakfasts were great, and the staff could not be more helpful. This place was definitely a highlight during our trip to Thailand.

The beach was not great for swimming, but was great for hanging out and reading. It was very peaceful.

We love everything about this resort ! We have travelled the world and Baan Thai Resort is a true gem.

Small, quiet, pristine, attention to every detail, staff and food ! Do not miss the opportunity to stay there. We stayed for 5 nights and we had the beach front villa. Simply heavenly.

Great care in maintaining all aspects of the property. We loved the daily fresh flower arrangement outside our villa. The staff was great, especially Nina.

This boutique resort was an absolute delight. The grounds are maintained to the highest standards, and there are too many charming and unique details throughout to note here. The beach it sits on is stunning not at all crowded. We got to see the most beautiful sunset here from our entire trip, and that is saying something.Natasha (and the rest of the staff) took very good care of us. If you are fortunate enough to have her working when you visit, seek her out and I am sure she will take very good care of you as well.They even went out of there way to ship me some headphones that I left so that I could recieve them before leaving Thailand.

This is the nicest hotel on the beach. Beach location is very poor - so much trash!! Very much detracted from the location. Nice to see the water but don’t intend to enjoy the beach - full of trash if you want to walk along it. If you put this hotel on another, nicer beach it would be 5-stars.

No words can describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Baan Thai Lanta - I will try my best to summarize it ?The staff is so extremely kind! They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience of the island, giving us recommendations on things to do and discover during our stay. It was also very easy to rent scooters and book massages at the reception desk. Attention to detail was exceptional, from the food we ate to the flowers right outside our room, which were changed and arranged beautifully every day.The villas are spacious and silent, surrounded by the most stunning gardens. We loved hearing the sound of frogs croaking by the pond at night and waking up to birdsongs in the morning. Thank you so much, Marina, Nina, and everyone else, for making our holiday so wonderful! We hope to come back one day ❤️

Mosquitos- but they provide spray AND mosquito coils to burn There is an odd ‘trough’ in the bathroom that is quite treacherous- not sure the purpose but both of us ‘fell’ into it Shower has no pressure and is a deep ‘step-down’ from bathroom level Variable hot and cold water during shower

One minor downside was that the tide in the afternoon made the beach less usable, but honestly, this was insignificant compared to everything else the resort offers.

Everything about this place is fabulous. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The resort is beautiful, especially the gardens—you can really see the love and care that went into them. We loved the pool, the direct beach access, and the cozy area with comfy beach chairs. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and spacious. A perfect spot to relax and unwind.

It would have been great to have mosquito nets in the rooms, but the resort does provide mosquito repellent, which is a nice touch.

Baan Thai Lanta is a true paradise! We booked a sea-view room, and it was incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchenette. The direct beach access was perfect, and the sunsets were breathtaking.The breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly, and the gardens were always immaculate-every detail is carefully maintained. Ideal for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

We came back for the second time and it was just as good as last time!! The houses are very comfortable, the pool is lovely, the staff is AMAZING!! Would come back every time. Kapkumkraap ??????

Absolute paradise. The pictures for this hotel do not do justice. It was much better than the photos. The staff was lovely, the hotel area and the beachfront are beautiful. Breakfast was tasty and I loved the pina coladas at the bar. The hotel offers all you need - laundry service, scooters, massage. Would definitely stay again.

The resort is stunning, so well thoughts and relaxing. Staff were so sweet and helpfull and very discrete. We loved everything about our stay at Baan thai lanta. It is right on the beach and our 4 years old loved it as much as us.

This is the 5th visit to Baan Thai for my family and out friends. This time to celebrate my husband’s life on what would have been his birthday at his favourite place with fireworks in the beach. ❤️

Absolutely everything ! I'm I able to give it a 12 out of 10 ! The gardens are something else , the presentation of everything was just beautiful xx whilst menu might be limited , the food was delicious and once again presentation and service were fabulous xx such a relaxing place , feel extremely lucky to have stayed at such a gem of a place xx

Very pretty resort, beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and lots of attention to detail, good breakfast and nice little restaurant with some very good Thai dishes.

The beach there is not very large and a bit difficult to get in the water as stony in parts. It's a good location though if you want to explore the island.

This hotel was truly a paradise. The premises and the room are very well kept! The massage and the pool were my highlight! The breakfast was nice

I think they could improve something at the restaurant and bar. In the evening it was empty and the hotel next doors were full. The food was not bad but just not wow like anything else in the resort. Also since the resort is big provide a service who brings bags at reception. I would definitely stay here again

Gardens and property were beautiful. Staff were very friendly except one staff member who could appear very offish but the next minute very friendly.

Lots of bars/restaurants on the beach but not a lot of infrastructure anywhere else.
