- It was my first trip to Thailand and I absolutely loved it. It was not a posh resort and I did not want one. It was rough around many edges which gave it total charm. All in all Koh Lanta Thailand Was somewhat of a step back in time. It was very friendly
- The location was great. Very convenient for shopping, etc. We enjoyed the pool, the little beach, and the hotel's bar/restaurant as well. The staff was helpful when we wanted to rent vehicles and set up tours, too.

- The only thing we didn't like was the hot water situation. As at other budget properties in Thailand, the hot water in the shower is from a small, on-demand unit. We never really got "hot" water; lukewarm was about the limit.
