The staff, the location, the food, the breakfast, the spa, if you can imagine a beautiful resort in Thailand with wonderful people and a wonderful location this will meet your minds eye.

We loved this place , there was nothing we did not like. Remember to wear hats and use plenty of sunscreen!!

Everything was excellent

What an incredible place in paradise! From the moment you are picked up till the moment they drop you off, every aspect of Pimalai is so well curated with your happiness in mind. The airport transfer is seamless and stress free. The check in experience is so welcoming, with fresh wet towels, tea, and all the friendly staff one could ask for.I really enjoyed the small touches, all the thoughtful small things they do to make their guests comfortable. Such as unlimited ice water (delivered to you at your sun lounger) when at the pools or the beach. While I never saw a mosquito in our room, they do provide mosquito repellent machines in the rooms. During our welcome, we were given spa vouchers because we were staying for several days (for us, one week). Upon arriving to our room, there was a welcome plate of fruit and fresh coconuts!Every treatment we got at the spa was excellent. Our favourite: the Aromatic Oil massageThe fitness center was so well-equipped, maintained, and spotlessly clean. There was even a jug of ice water infused with aromatics (lime, lemongrass, cucumber, mint, etc) available too. Made the gym feel very elite and spa-like.The restaurants were a surprising bonus. I assumed we would be venturing out into the town for meals often, but the quality of food was wonderful. Our favorites were the All You Can Eat Surf & Turf night and the BBQ night, both at their Rak Talay beach restaurant.The included breakfast buffet was especially surprising. They had so many different options, from western to Asian and all kinds of sweets. Loved the fresh fruit and fresh squeezed fruit juices! I was especially impressed with the abundance of it all. Breakfast was from 6:30-10:30AM and even at 10:24AM I saw employees refilling everything, including tall plates of bacon. Overall the staff very much care about your satisfaction. They will go above and beyond to clear any problems or miscommunications. It’s rare to see this level of service.

nothing to dislike

Pimalai creates that dream sequence travel feeling where everything feels just right and you’re fully relaxed. It is a magical place the photos and videos don’t fully capture. The lush surroundings, the understated luxury, the amazing staff who really want you there. Shout out to Am who worked the front desk - she was amazing and worked hard to ensure I had a wonderful experience.

Very hard to find something not to like. The spa’s jungle jacuzzi was closed for maintenance which was a bummer. They said it was due to heavy rain in the off season causing delays. Overall the property is very well maintained but some areas are starting to show a bit of age. The resort has invested - such as a new Heritage restaurant space.

Incredible place. Amazing facilities on a stunning beach with staff going above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth during our stay.

It was remote, not crowded, and incredibly gorgeous scenery

It is a bit far from Krabi airport. But otherwise there is a lot to do both through the resort and on Koh Lanta

We‘ve been there the second time and I must say it is the most incredible place I visited in Thailand so far. The service is outstanding and the food excellent. Rooms just have the right size to enjoy this place and relax if needed. The world- class SPA is a pleasure for everybody.

Everything - the facilities are beautiful, the staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful, the place is huge there is so much to do. We were so sad to leave and wish we stayed longer

Nothing!

The hotel is on a beautiful stretch of beach and the resort is barely noticeable spread up the hill behind it. Both pools offer amazing views of the beach and/or sea and the grounds and gardens are immaculately maintained. Our beachside room was lovely and large enough for us to really relax. Although the property is large buggy rides can be requested and our request to go to breakfast at the top of the resort was met without delay. All in all a very relaxing stay at the end of a 3 week holiday around Thailand and we have no complaints about anything. The pick up and arrival by speedboat was also a great holiday experience.

Food is excellent, the grounds are beautiful. The staff are very friendly. The restaurants and areas to each are lovely and have a different feel to all of them. The resort is very well organised and maintained.

The rooms are slightly older and the windows in the properties are single glazed; this means the rooms can get very hot and you can hear the outside noises easily. The resort is very quiet so it’s not a massive issue however if you like your room to be cold we struggled to get ours to below 22 degrees. The gym isn’t huge for the size of the hotel.Some of the sun beds round the pool do not go totally flat, meaning it’s difficult to lie on your front.

Excellent staff, all always smiling available and really helpfulWe met many that were exceptional but we do remember specially Palm in the swimming pool and Anne at the restaurant in the beach. We will repeat!!

Nothing the resort could have done differently but the weather... we got 6 days of heavy rain!

My wife and I were both very impressed with the Hotel location, the quality of the facilities and the super friendly, helpful staff. We eat in all of the restaurants and tried a wide variety of the menus on offer each one was excellent in it's own way. Each night we took advantage of the happy hour to watch the sunset over the bay. We would strongly recommend The Pimalai to anyone who is looking for a totally relaxing holiday and to be spoilt.
