Moonlight Bay Resort

Great resort. Access to a clean small beach that looks private. Nice small pool. Great rooms. Bungalow with partial sea view had a very nice view actually. Deluxe rooms are very spacious. We stayed only one night.

Great staff. Very friendly. Quiet and nice chill atmosphere. Nice location if you want to stay at the hotel. Great value for money.

Everything was great. The best greeting at a hotel I have ever had. The staff were amazing, super friendly! It was an amazing place to relax after a few long days of travel. The beach villa was great, perfect views and very calming. I will return for sure! There are a few places to eat or get essentials within and 10-15 min easy walk away but it is in a very quiet location!

The restaurant had a rich and tasty menu — every meal was a delight! The villa had the most breathtaking view, and the beach just steps away was pure paradise. Would 100% come back again!

Nothing it was perfect

Great couples hotel for seniors . Hotel not good for kids as not much for them to do.We had the best room overlooking ocean was best romantic getaway resort. If you want low key and quiet this is your place.Kookkai at Reception 5 star!!!

A beautiful, modern accommodation with a stunning sea view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had a great stay here.

The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. It was walking distance to a tiny beach and they have motorcycles you can rent.

The spot is amazing, private bay.Food very good at the restaurant.Great massage on the beach.All the staff very nice people.We can see that somebody put some touch of design, in this resort you feel very much the peace of the place.

The location is tucked away from the busier part of the island so it is perfect for a Thai beach getaway. Even better the beach is completely private and separated from the rest of the island by nature rock formations. Perfect for a quiet stay! The property itself is very well cared for a so beautiful. Splurge for the stand alone bungalows it’s worth it!

Not close to many restaurants, there is only one within walking distance. Great for people who can drive a bike, but you will need to take a taxi to restaurants otherwise

The location and resort is beautifully set next to a cute beach. The pool bar, massage place, etc are very well kept and are nicely and generously located. Our bungalow had a stunning view over the ocean. The bungalow was spacious and clean with a STUNNING view! We loved the massage

It’s a bit outdated. With some extra hacks they could upgrade it - install extra hangers for towels in bathrooms - add bathrobes in rooms - add a 2nd coffee machine (!!!) so people don’t line up for 15min in the morning

The private beach was great. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our beachfront villa was a fantastic location with beautiful views. The beach bar was beautiful. Front desk staff very helpful with booking taxis and day trips! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at Moonlight Bay Resort.

Restaurant Toilets could be cleaned and stocked with paper towels and toilet paper more regularly.

Beautiful units in secluded area with exclusive access to beach; the hotel restaurant was a highlight of the whole trip - very unexpected from a hotel cuisine, this was probably the best food we had during the whole Thailand trip.

Booked a kayak tour over the reception and we were 'forgotten' by the operators on pick up day. Also wanted to go to the Animal Welfare Center and specifically asked reception if we need to reserve - and got told it is not necessary and we can just go. It turned out bookings of tours are mandatory.

Amazing location. I really loved it. it was a 3 min. scooter drive from some cute cafés, a Muay Thai Place, a lot of local restaurants. The hotel felt really peaceful and calm. Breakfast was great.

I didn't like that they would bring new plastic bottles of water every day. There are much more sustainable solutions. They should put a water dispenser into the restaurant, so people can fill up their water bottles instead of adding to the plastic waste.

Stayed here twice, first time in complex near road and second time in a beachfront bungalow. The complex was nice, 3 star, clean and comfortable, didn’t notice the road noise. The bungalow was over the top wonderful. Up in the trees and ocean view really beautiful.

Our bungalow was close to the pool so nice and mostly quiet until a group came in late and had a loud chat fest in to the wee hours.

A relaxing resort that has most of the things you need on a vacation. Private beach, sunbeds and a beautiful bar to watch the sunset. Good quality of the equipment in the gym, you could see that it’s new! But we were missing a treadmil..We had a great massage from the two ladies working 12 hours shifts every day. The staff were so hard working, nice and friendly!

The food at the restaurant had a variety of quality. The chicken, fish etc was really nice, but the steak were so dry and chewy..The hotell room overall had a nice standard, but the beds were horrible.There was a smell of feces in and around the hotel room that really ruined the nice impression we had of the place. It seemed like the staff tried to fix it, but we stayed for a week and the smell was present the whole time. Don’t know if this is just temporary?

Absolutely beautiful! Idyllic location and lovely rooms. The recent upgrades are lovely. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Booked excursions through the reception.

We loved it all! It is a 10 minute walk from the small villages, but we actually enjoyed this walk and would get a taxi back in the evening for 100 baht.

Nice, beach, restaurant and bar all great. Swimming pool great. Wish we could have got the bungalows

Fitness room was limited, no cardio machine (first world problem ?)

We stayed in a villa with a sea view (207) and were very satisfied. The view was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The staff was very kind and friendly, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. There was plenty of choice, and you could have eggs in every variation. The villas and communal areas (pool, restaurant area) are very fresh and new. A very large hotel area, but everything was clean and well-maintained.

We had a few issues with the air conditioning, but we managed to resolve them. I definitely recommend renting a scooter, as the nearby villages are quite small.

The staffs are friendly and things are taken care of.

We had our money stolen from my fiancée’s wallet which was left in the room. There is no cctv and we didn’t want more trouble during the stay so we let it go. Hope the resort management will read Tua and reach out to us. We stay in creek room one from 19 to 24 Dec 2024.Otherwise nothing else negative.Thank you.
