Lanta Seafront Resort

The pool is clean, frequently cleaned and has a kid-friendly part and a deeper - about 2 meters - short part in the middle. The resort has a very reliable taxi service for 200 baht / adult. If you go early to have a breakfast, then the staff is trying to serve everything as fresh as possible. From the reception you can book various trips, also can settle the payment (beware of the extra commission if paying with card). Some very good restaurant nearby, also their own at the seaside is also serving with excellent quality. Depends on the location of your room, in the early morning hours monkeys are coming close to the resort to search for food. They always kept some distance, probably the staff frequently keeping them away, also the resort has cameras, so felt safe during our stay. AC worked perfectly, beds were comfortable and the location is quiet during the night. Communication through Booking was quick and easy prior to our arrival.

The pool is a little bit small, seemed bigger from the pictures. But OK as the beach is accessible through the restaurant. Staff failed to lock one of our rooms after cleaning which is a minor problem thanks to the camera outside. Expect some stinging sensation in the sea if you are sensitive to it due to tiny jellyfish larvae. Harmless and temporary, nothing to worry about.

The lamp didn’t work in our room and the pillows were smelly. Bathroom could do with a revamp.

The view was spectacular. The room big enough and lots of storing places. Water is given everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very affordable laundry service is available as well and nice little pool. This hotel is close to every nice place to eat.

The bed sheets could be washed or replaced as there were stains. The furniture is somewhat old and maybe a refurbishment will be welcome. Remember, water is sea water in the taps and shower. Just needs a getting used to.

Hotel room was comfortable. Breakfast over the road in the restaurant was a good spread. Lovely beach front location. The pool seemed nice but didn’t go in it. Muy Thai gym round the corner too. Some local restaurants and food places on the road.

The staff in the restaurant were not friendly at all. Very impolite and unwelcoming.

The hotel is looking its age, but being close to the beach, only a short road crossing and a swimming pool within the grounds of the hotel, it is a fantastic stay for a family stay. Added to that, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They were adorable. Thank you all

The best thing is a Motorbike

This is not a Resort, is not in front off the sea

A small resort located at the quiet end of the beach. Walk to many choices of beach restaurants and to the 7-Eleven and a few shops. Room was spacious and comfortable with chairs. Daily housekeeping was good. The beach was fabulous, swimable, and family friendly.

The bathroom is old with black stained grout and occasionally a sewer odour, I think from the drains. This may be the trade off for a lower price in this location.

To keep it short: the price you pay is way too high for what you get. The only reason to book the place is if you choose the deluxe room with seaview so your balcony is right on the beach and you have your private sunbeds. Also the deluxe room has a good size with enough space for lugage, etc

The value you get for the price of USD 240/night is simply ridiculous. The included breakfast has not much more options than in a cheap hotel/hostel (according menu it has a value of USD 5!) and it doesn’t even include brewed coffee! The furniture and especially the bathroom is outdated with plumbing and sink not working well.

The room was decent size, the mattresses were firm and the shower was ok pressure and temperature wise. They offer tours with pick up from the hotel. The beach was amazing and the hotel offer facilities at the beach. The reception other day we arrived was excellent.

The first evening after our arrival I opened my bed ( there were three single beds) and the sheet was stained with blood ( see photo attached). It was clear that the sheet has been washed, it was a brown staining but was a circle that had 10 cm in diameter approximately. I went to the lobby and asked for a change of sheets without making a big deal out of it. The employee asked me three times of it wasn’t us. I found it rude. First I mentioned I was menopause’s. Then she asked if it wasn’t my daughter who was not with her period at that time. She keep insisting even when I mentioned that the stain was old an we could not have make it , washed and dried. She kept saying that the made told her the sheets were cleaned when we arrived. She changed her attitude towards us from that moment on. We keept expecting the manager to show up and apologize but that did not happened.

Location was great, good size room, clean gardens and pool. Restaurant and Beach across road with restaurants, few shops walking distance

Room dated, few niggles sorted other than main one, sewer stench from bathroom was awful throughout night and when back in room, only way to clear for a while, when in room during day had front door and patio doors wide open to clear the smell... other rooms in block the same but possible only these rooms!

Nice location close to the beach, and decent food at restaurant.

Customer service wasn’t great. We flagged a broken toilet seat when we arrived and they said they’d fix it but nothing happened. No one at reception when we tried to seek support at points during the trip. No-alcohol hotel for reference including the restaurant.

When we arrived we were told "sorry someone has extended their stay so we had to downgrade for 1 night to a twin room and we can move tomorrow to the large double" I had booked with in my opinion was unfair. The buffet style breakfast was always empty.The sky TV in the room never worked at all..

Lovely Staff, great food at their restaurant. The premises are tidy and clean, the room-bungalow beach front was amazing.I had to check out before their breakfast time, so the Staff prepared me a super rich and tasty breakfast to take-away the evening before leaving.Super recommended!

Just a lovely small hotel 23 rooms all surrounding a pool 3 rooms are on the beach opposite . The hotel is very nice for the price we loved it can't complain the bed was gorgeous. Breakfast served over the road in there other property was good . Really liked it
