Wonderfully relaxing, charming rooms right on the beach. Good food and very attentive and helpful service. We can't wait until we find an excuse to go back there.

The location was excellent, right in the beach. The staff was friendly and attentive to requests.

The drain was clogged and not fixable, according to the staff. It drained to the main streets which are blocked. The wifi was not too good.

Great Location!

Staff and respect for privacy in room. This was our second time and last time staying at this property. The day before check out we were asked if we needed house keeping, the answer was “no”. We went out to explore and eat lunch. However, upon our return I noticed a bill for the mini bar from Mae. Strange, why is Mae in our room without permission?!? On top of that she didn’t even clean up the room or leave clean towels, just went in to write a bill, since the previous day Mae wrote another bill. Then we ordered 10 Mojitos (with friends) and were told the hotel is out of mint at 5pm on a Saturday. Maybe it’s an island thing and I don’t understand. Extremely unprofessional, I’ll take my business elsewhere!!

I got exactly what I wanted. Was here about 7 years ago and really wanted to come back. The location of the hotel is awesome for some one who wants a little quiet vacation. And don't forget the reef slippers!

Beautiful view, calm stay, connexion with the sea.

No mosquito nets and the windows in bathroom are open.

We stayed here four times over ten years. The hotel is old school island, not gltitzy and very natural. The staff are lovely and the location on Bahn Kantiang is second only to smaller islands like Koh Kradan to the South.In that the Pimalai is down the road and there is no such thing as a private beach in TH, it's not likely that much will change here. We have several "go-tos" nearby for lunch and dinner including Drunken Sailor, Same Same on the beach and a couple of new places this season - Black Swan for breakfast and Rock and Roll up the hill.The location is quiet and great for families. We use Lanta Diver who are based in Saladan but have an office at the Pimalai.

Having said that the hotel's not changed much, the linen and towels are getting tired - recognise the COVID era was tough on this region but it's time for a bit of investment. The rooms are spacious with good beds but the bathrooms are ready for an overhaul, especially the showers. Room servicing can be a bit hit and miss - we see past this for the location and staff.

The Why Not Bar next door was a little loud until midnight.

The patio and hammock with an ocean view was sensational.

There was no dresser or shelves to properly put our clothes away.

Breakfast was shocking. The property photographs weren’t representative of the reality. They must have been taken sometime ago - the whole place is now a bit tired. Low water pressure in shower. Really poor quality towels (room & beach). AC unit didn’t cool the room. The top level of the building looks like it had be struck by a hurricane and never repaired

The location is wonderful, just in front of the sea and near to different places to have a meal. The room is very comfortable and there’s a lot of space. There’s a very pleasant restaurant just near the hotel in which there’s live music and shows and good food and drinks. The staff is good and helpful. The beach is full of calm and it’s the best place to relax and disconnect from chaos.

The rooms need restauration, facilities are getting old. Too many mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. Too many ants everywhere, even in the breakfast area, especially on the table on which food is served. The breakfast could be improved with more sweet choices.

The food was very bad, only had breakfast once. We also had the Gala Christmas dinner which also was poor. Lots of great restaurants nearby so it doesn't matter too much.

The location is good, I liked the seafront rooms and the beautiful garden. The receptionist Chanancida was super helpful when I had questions or any special request.

The neighbouring beach bar is very noisy! They have loud music until late night. The breakfast is boring, not too many options (which probably comes from the small size of the hotel). They are using strongly destroyed pans that are unhealthy because of the micro teflon pieces that you get with your fried eggs.Comparing its price to other higher class hotel in Ko Lanta we moved to from here this hotel is highly overpriced.

Great location right on the beach with many shops nearby and excellent welcome.Great breakfast.

Very difficult to find down a side street with no signs.

Breakfast was very good - staff was very friendly thou lacked English communication skills.

Internet was terrible - didn't work at all about 1/4 of the time and was slow with some websites not being to open at all as a result. When I mentioned this to the staff (whom were very friendly) they didn't understand me. We were to stay for 14 nights but I managed to trade the last 5 nights and stay in their sister hotel in Ao Nang which had very good internet.

The location is great for quiet and relaxing. The best park was listening to the waves from the hammock on the balcony. The pool was great too. The restaurants and massage places just outside the hotel were good.

The breakfast is pretty abysmal and the staff mostly ignore you when you request something or were completely unhelpful. The whole place is quite rundown and needs some refurbishment.

It’s small and quiet, even as they renovated the checkin area. The staff were friendly and helpful! Awesome breakfast selection and great location, walkable to 7Eleven and k.Himalaya.

Our room had ants, which I’m sure is typical in a tropical area. Staff had no problem spraying and cleaning as asked.
