Baan Check In

Baan Check in provides pick up from the pier, they were waiting for us when we arrived and drove us to the hotel. Everyone who works here is so nice and very friendly. The check in process was quick and they showed us to our room. The rooms are nice, spacious, very clean, and comfortable beds. The wifi was great, never had problems with hot water, and ac and fans are in the room. Baan Check in also has motor bikes for rent so we rented one for 48 hours, very good price and made for getting around the island very easily. They also provide day trips and activities around Koh Lanta that you can book here which makes it convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended it. We had a great stay!

One of the best hotels/private rooms I’ve stayed in. Incredibly good value for money. Extremely clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for me to get around. And the family who ran it were the most lovely people ever. The lady who helped me with bikes/excursions and all sorts, she was a true diamond. Always happy and smiling. Beautiful family, beautiful place.

It was a nice spacious bungalow - actually two adjoining with two bathrooms. Very clean and two hammocks outside. The family that ran it were lovely and very helpful with everything.

You need a ride to get anywhere really. There’s a very quiet, but nice beach in walking distance, but everything else is a drive away. It’s also right on the ‘main’ road, so short of kerb appeal when you first arrive but the bungalows are tucked round the back so you don’t notice it as much when you’re in your house.

The place was near to the beach (by foot) and 7eleven (for snacks). Had a warm welcome by the owner and the service was excellent! Great stay here & the room is spacious enough for 3 persons. Definitely recommend this place!

Nothing I have to complain.

Very comfortable room with great air con. Bathroom was lovely. 5 minutes walk to the beach which is the nicest one we saw on the island, great for a swim and to watch sunset. Also nearby some good restaurants. Pickup from the pier was great too and 7-Eleven across the road was handy, especially in a place that it a bit more difficult to get around.

Only thing I can think of is the shower head had some holes so water kind of went everywhere but that’s not major.

We loved this accommodation. We extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights! Enjoyed the very clean room and vibes from the family onsite! They were extremely helpful with booking boats, hiring bikes and just overall lovely people.

The bungalows were very clean, secluded, and fully equipped with everything you need. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They had everything on site from scooter rentals to excursions to transportation so you could book everything from the front desk. It was located in the center of the Island close to all the best beaches and restaurants. The best place we stayed during our entire 1 month trip to Thailand

Are hammock was a bit old and worn but after 2 days they replaced it with a brand new one.

The place is nicely located centrally along the west coast of koh Lanta. Everything was easily reachable via motorbike and bungalows are a nice way to stay.The hammock out front was a nice touch.

The bungalow was unfortunately dirty and hardly maintained. The sheets had holes, the showers were moldy, there was trash behind the toilet and many other details were just not up to par. The mattresses were wonky and hard. For the price we paid, i expected more quality and pride in what you offer.

Really good value for money, really clean and the staff were friendly. Balcony room for the price was exceptional and the room was a great size. Bathroom was also modern. Convenient motorcycle rental available at front desk for the cheapest rate about and only ID card deposit no passport.

We liked absolutely everything about Baan check in. The location was great, the people were so kind, the rooms were clean and everything was just so accommodating. Would recommend to family & friends and come back myself in a heartbeat!

Big room. Very friendly staffRented a new good motorbike from the place.

Our first two nights was spent in a room with a strong smell of cleaning product that would not go away so that was unpleasant. Then we were changed to a different room. Hard matrass in the second room and the door that didn't fit well in the lock so when it was windy during the night it felt like someone was trying to get in to the room.

e stayed in a bungalow of a higher standard, which met all our expectations, comfortable bed, air conditioning, large bathroom, safe. Professional and friendly service, possibility of purchasing additional attractions at the reception. The area is quiet, but there is a 24-hour shop and restaurants just a few minutes away.

I had a terrible experience there. 1. The room smelled terribly of mothballs, you really couldn't stay there. 2. staff and management was extremely rude. I called them in the evening to complain about that strong smell, but they told me it was none of their business and hung up on me. We had to go to a nearby hotel to sleep until the morning when we went to get our things. Also, they didn't want to return our money for the 4 days we didn't stay and swore at us (the people from booking didn't take any action either, which is disappointing, but I'm going to uninstall my app)

The bungalows are spacious, the beds are really good, the airconditioning is very quiet and the location is ideal.
