Pros +
- This island resort was great with so many places to go and chill out, with an infinity pool & bar, three swimming pools next to each other with a swim up bar, a beach area with sunbeds & a snorkel area with a small beach & more sun beds. The facilities were great and it was very peaceful having the whole island as the resort. It was very nice to walk around. Our bungalow was very clean & spacious with great air-con. It also had a nice balcony to chill out on.The breakfast which was included was also very good with so much choice.
- The Staff were AMAZING!!! So welcoming and helpful! The location was incredible and easily accessible to the mainland via a ferry every 5 min.
- Pool bar and pools were great. The island vibe of the resort was spot on. Water was incredible
Cons -
- The food prices in the restaurant were quite high & every night there was an event on with a buffet & entertainment, with higher prices than usual. This was also the only option for food on the island after 7pm so if you did not want a buffet & to pay higher prices, you would have to go back to the mainland to get dinner. However, there was a free 24/7 ferry taking you to & from the mainland which only took 2 mins & was very good.
- The Azure Restaruant had a couple of special buffets, which were very nice with loads of options. Didn't have an 'off-night' experience to give contrast to, and will say it was generally pleasent. Our culinary (food) experience at the only other facility on the resort, was beyond sub-par. The food was simply 'discount / frozen' quality, charged at a premium rate. Not recommended.
- Need golf buggy’s or some transport as walking with toddlers is too far and difficult. Road needs resurfacing.

The staff were fantastic. The location and the views are wonderful.
We were in a bungalow room. These have not been upgraded possibly since first built and have broken bathroom tiles with mould in large areas.Ceiling fans are broken and don't work.Pool has a cement bottom that is all chipped off) island pool)The pool area is dirty, broken, and cracked (the cement paving area). The building at the Island bar is very tired. The resort for the bungalow room is very very poor value.Whilst the staff were brilliant the food was extremely overpriced and pretty ordinary. The drinks are the same. The Australian owners walk around not making eye contact with staff as they get complained too so often.A man collapsed and they had to move him to the ferry on the back of a rubbish truck. The apartments must be in better condition and may account for the mixed reviews. The locals outright call the Australian owners 'bad people' who do not give back to the community or support local business.Snorkeling equipment is broken and ripped.Gardens require
The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The garden fare was comfortable with stunning views, and the grounds, pools, and private beach were all beautifully maintained. Great selection for breakfast and the dinners were also good. I also had a great time on the guided snorkeling trip.
The availability of the water sports equipment was limited.
Enjoyed the breakfast every morning with delicious fresh fruits and local coffee, and the pools (yes, multiple!!) Were all fantastic. And so many fish at snorkellers cove ???. As an avid diver it was so much fun to be in a beautiful island resort with diving, snorkeling and swimming all a 2 minute walk from our bungalow. And the staff were so so lovely.
Can't think of anything!
Lovely location, friendly staff, lots of facilities with great potential
Whilst we were very empathetic to the recent earthquake and effect on the community, we had paid $AUD1250 per night and were advised that the resort was operating normally. However, there were a number of issues and experiences that did not reflect the price paid. Whilst they were relatively small issues in isolation, if you are charging a premium rate, then invest money back into the resort to ensure your guests get what they paid for.Having come from Eratap Resort, where our experience was amazing and customer service was superb, we had to wait 1hr40 mins to check in after usual check in time (2pm) as room wasn’t ready. No apology or even offer of a free drink. Kayak tour on daily activity list not run due to person not being available.Volleyball for pool was flat they had been using a soccer ball, but that was now at the beach (not the pool where the net was!)Broken lounge chairs everywhere.TV not working properly in room.Couldn’t use both showers at the same time as one would go cold.Broken pontoon at snorkelers cove was dangerous.Broken snorkels handed out to guests at snorkelers cove. There is huge potential here - with some reinvestment back into the property, it could be amazing.
The daily breakfast was always delicious. I ate at the restaurant most of the nights, but if you are not interested in going to the restaurant, there are some other places off island. The pools were refreshing and the entire island was picturesque. Definitely coming back!
It was a bit hot, but next time I'll come when it is cooler.
The island is beautiful, amazing snorkelling & pools. The island has so much to offer. The Vanuatu people and staff are the most welcoming, friendly and beautiful people. The room was absolutely spotless, Housekeeping came daily. We could not fault the customer service, everyone went above and beyond.Lydia who was working usually at breakfast In the main restaurant, was a superstar. Give this lady a raise!
The island is a lot larger than we thought, a lot of hills to walk up in the scorching heat. We think bicycle or scooters to hire to get you round the island would be a great idea!
The restaurant dining was absolutely amazing with fantastic views over the water. Staff were very accommodating and it was so easy to access the town using the ferry, while still having privacy on the island for a truly unforgettable experience. The fire dancing is a must see too
Nothing, I just wish we could have stayed longer.
The distance we had to walk to restaurant or reception, then walkv3 flights stairs to our room, wevadked to be moved snd had to down grade.Should be some sort of way to get to rooms easier
Was very relaxing
The restaurant wasn’t that nice. Tried a few different meals and they all were pretty plain. Ended up getting food from off the island majority of the nights
My partner and I had the most amazing romantic getaway at Iririki Island Resort. The setting was absolutely stunning—surrounded by crystal-clear water, it felt like our own little paradise. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, cozy villa, and watching sunsets together. The spa experience was a real highlight—so relaxing and perfect for couples. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel so welcome. It was the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy each other’s company.
Beautiful location and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
The air conditioner was on a set temperature that couldn't be changed.
Sadly, our toilet wasn’t flushing nor was there running water during our stay. Food great, facility very nice.
Iririki Island Resort was the perfect tropical escape—peaceful, beautiful, and so close to the heart of Port Vila. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the views were absolutely stunning. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return!
Nothing it was a fanatistic tropical experience
Our stay at Iririki Island Resort was unforgettable. The island setting felt like paradise, and the mix of relaxation and activities made it perfect. The service was outstanding, and everything from the rooms to the food exceeded our expectations.
Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, with no room for complaint.
We loved waking up to the harbour views. The fact that even though it’s a large resort, there weren’t crowds of people. We only walking metres to Snorkelers cove.Loved that it was so close to town but also seperate.
It’s getting a little tired however is clean and spacious. We had a few issues with no water (a couple of hours few 2 days)…but Vanuatu is still rebuilding after having an earthquake only months prior.A small inconvenience considering
The breakfast good. The menu all round was alright, but the daily specials were amazing. The best part of the resort were the staff though, made our stay!
It rained a little bit while we were there, but when it was sunny, it was magical.
Friendly staff, great food, awesome pools and a short boat across to the mainland. Overall a relaxing experience.
