    Pros +

    • Was supposed to have continental breakfast included. No chef for 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Bar was not stocked till second last night there. Hot water was limited. Only wifi was at the bar area. Poor lighting so couldn’t even play up at the pool area at night. The staff were lovely. Just weren’t at all ‘guest ready.’ Lovely location.
    • The staff were absolutely fantastic and so nice. It is also a very beautiful resort with a private beach, and the bungalows are very cute. Water taxi is a must if you are travelling to town, it's also an amazing way to see the island from the sea.
    • Great location. The staff made our stay incredible including Rosanne who was the best staff member and made us feel very welcomed!

    Cons -

    • The lack of air condition and insects, especially ants.
    • Fan was not working. Reception and bar near the pool were not longer in use. We would have loved to have service there as well!
    • It is a little bit remote which is only a problem if you want to get in to town (Port Vila) and the bathrooms could do with an update

Nice beach, clear water, great snorkeling, boat taxi straight to the town, bar, cocktails, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is amazing and always ready to help.

Would be nice to have few more hooks for the towels and clothes in the bathroom

The view from the room was nice but that is where it ends

To start with, the booking.com description of this place is very outdated. This resort is falsely advertised and needs to be removed or updated. We checked in and were underwhelmed by the accommodation; it was very basic for what they charged for the rooms. The restaurant was out of food and drinks, and what it did provide was very average. There was no tour desk as advertised, we were told to book online but could not use the internet. The staff were just lounging around the pool, making it very uncomfortable to use. The restaurant was closed at 8 pm, and all the staff left, we had no hot water in our room, and no one was around to help us. The wifi was terrible and limited to the restaurant area. It was a very uncomfortable stay, we had booked and paid for three nights and left after the first night and were still charged the full amount. We relocated to a cheaper and much nicer resort down the road. I would not recommend this place to anyone; we were extremely disappointed.I am sure it once used to be a nice place to stay, but it has been poorly managed and neglected for a long time The staff are trying their best with what they have to work with, but it is a terrible place to stay.

Very quiet, right on the water. Good size room

Basic fare at restaurant. Fairly basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable

    - The manager (Heram) was very kind and helped with the electric noise from the small pole lamps and other LED lamps in the resort. I came on a ham radio DXpedition trip. However, LED lamps often produce an electric noise in the air so that one cannot hear the radio stations from the other side of the world. I showed Heram the problem, and he allowed me to turn off the lights, basically darkening the area. Then, when I was finishing my activity and before going to bed, I switched on the lights again. it rescued the DXpedition- It was a solo paradise: out of 17 bungalows, only two were occupied, including mine. So, I could spend a day and not to see other visitors. Nevertheless, when we met eventually, we had very pleasant chats as well- The view and the sand was too paradise-like

    - The WiFi never worked. I purchased my own SIM right at the airport, not relying on WiFi anyway- The menu was too basic, and even from that, only a couple of options were available. But the place wasn't about the food anyway- There is no soundproof by design. The windows are nets and the next bungalow is in 3 meters from you. Thus, obviously, it is like you are in the same room. I was fortunate that there were no other visitors during my stay except for another couple a few bungalows away. But if somebody made love or children crying at night in the next bungalow, it would be like they are in your own bungalow :-)

The manager was exceptional as were all the staff we met. The swim out made exploring the reef extremely easy. the accommodation was basic but very clean and the surrounding gardens were well maintained. The food was great with plenty of choice and vegetarians were catered for. The beach is sandy but getting into the water you have to walk across coral so shoes are recommended. The resort is on the sheltered side of the bay which meant we avoided the seasonal winds that hit the resorts on the other side of the peninsula in early August when we were there.

There's nothing we didn't like but if you don't have your own transport, getting into town or around the bay for the fire show would require a taxi.

    7JeffreyPosted on: 8-2-2024

Location was beautiful and sheltered, right on the beach. Gardens were well maintained. SUP boards and kayak were all handy free to use and snorkel gear and reef shoes.

Room was dated, some fly screens were missing at the back, bathroom could be improved. Swimming pool was at the property entrance, away from the beach and there were no restaurant or bar facilities near the pool. Menu could be improved.

Small but nice beach.Lunch can be served on a table on the beach, which is very romantic.Delicious food.

The bungalows are packed too tightly, so there is no privacy.Wi-Fi is not available in the far bungalows

Location close to the beach. The manager worked hard to make our stay memorable. Staff were friendly. Relaxed environment. The patios looking out to the water Hot water had i

The hot water system made its own decisions on a daily basis as to whether you really deserved it. Watersport equipment could do with updating. Limited choice of beverages. Could do with a refurbishment. Room features missing hand towels. No hairdryer. No full length mirror. No jug.

Food and drinks were good quality with reasonable prices.Service was good and outlook was fantasticStunning location

Everything was great,Its a far distance from town, but the water taxi or buses are quite cheap to get into the town centre. Good for those who dont want to be in the middle of it all and want to relax

The staff were all very accommodating and welcoming. The resort was quiet, picturesque and well catered for

The road to the resort was full of pot holes making driving a challenge.

I had the most wonderful, warm stay at Coco Beach Resort. The best thing about the resort was the staff - Vanessa, Gina, Alice and Hiram made me feel like I was at my home away from home. I would go back in a heartbeat for them alone! I was there slightly off season and the entire stretch of beach was peaceful. I loved the fact that you could just walk straight into the ocean and snorkel or just float for hours, which I did much of the time!

    10JenniferPosted on: 2-11-2024

The location and the serenity of the place. It was exactly what we wanted.

The humidity was bad but once the air con was on it was fine.
