Comfortable stay in a calm and peaceful environment. front staff was welcoming and friendly. breakfast and dinner were good and worth the price.

Because our room was located far up the hill, we needed a buggy to get to the beach. However, the buggy had to be requested in advance, and we had to wait for quite some time. When we wanted to return, we eventually had to walk because the buggy never arrived. The staff were also rather slow in responding to reports. For example, I reported the absence of toiletries upon checking into the room and called the staff about it. Only after making 3 reports — 2 by phone and 1 verbally to the front staff — did housekeeping finally come to deliver the toiletries.

I recently stayed at the Royale Chulan Family Villa for two nights, and my overall experience was highly positive. The location is excellent, as it is situated directly facing the ocean. The check-in process was smooth, with staff members demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, featuring modern amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable work desk, which made it suitable for both leisure and business purposes. Housekeeping was consistent, and the room was maintained to a high standard throughout the stay.Breakfast was included in the booking and met my expectations. The buffet offered a wide variety of both local and international options, with fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes prepared daily. The dining area was clean and well-organized, and staff were attentive in replenishing items.In conclusion, the Royale Chulan Family Villa provided excellent value for money, with outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and an ideal location. I would highly recommend this property to travelers seeking both convenience and comfort.

There was only one restaurant available, and its menu was limited. In addition, the buggy service used to move around the resort was rather slow.

The villa and the beach quite secluded and private with no access to the public.The breakfast spread quite good and the staff really helpful and friendly like Rose from the reception and few I didn’t get theirs name including the one that drove the buggy .

Have to call buggy because I’m not that fit to walk around.

The buffet breakfast was alright but lacked variety. The room service meal order was great! The food was delicious and the portion was filling. Pricing was equivalent to upmarket restaurants ,but it was matched with quality.

Not many activities to engage children. It could have provided more games or activity-based equipment.

I recently stayed at Royale Chulan Cherating Villa over the weekend, and it was truly one of my best stays to date. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our villa was just a few steps away from the beach, which was clean and beautiful. The room itself was superb, offering all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable beach vacation.

While my stay at Royale Chulan Cherating Villa was overall wonderful, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The breakfast cafe, although offering a good selection of food, is too small to comfortably accommodate all guests during peak times. Additionally, the swimming pool opens at 9am, which is a bit late for early risers. It would be great if the pool hours could start earlier, around 7:30am or 8:00am, to better suit guests' schedules.

Top notch concierge service, right from picking guests at carpark, understanding the activities and assisting to book nearby activities. They are very nice to provide 24H buggy service to fetch guests from their villas to the carpark.

Swimming pool require more maintenance and cleaning, some of the floor tiles have broken off.

The room furniture needs update! The pillows are too soft. There was a strange smell when we enter the room..i think it smells like old and moldy wood. The breakfast buffet was passable.

Cleanliness

Room is excellent ! Clean and spacious for a family of 5. The sea view is scenic despite it being a monsoon season. The beach is well maintain i.e cleanliness and kids friendly.

The breakfast buffet is too basic,not many option. The buggy for back n forth from parking lot to the room will take longer time to get.need to wait every time u need it.

The Villa was comfortable and spacious. Great view, luxurious and great value for money. The service of all that came in contact with us ie security, receptionist, van / buggy drivers, The Ocean ( cafe ) staffs, room service, cleaners were impeccable. Friendly, approachable, provide good information and always smiling. 5 star rating for the hotel and it’s customer service

They don’t have a gym. The SPA was not conveniently located. And having to take 40 steps down was not convenient

The room was lovely, mine was the sea view. The bed was supercomfy. The bathroom was clean and big. Breakfast was just ok, not tooo many choices but still all were good. What i love most is the people there. EVERYBODY WAS GREAT AND LOVELY!! HOSPITALITY TOP NOTCH.

Breakfast was less than desirable and we just came from hotels in the rainforest - they both had better spread. The hotel allow guests to enter the pool in non swimming costume.
