Very helpful staff. We liked the gardens environment. Good breakfast!

There is something special about this hotel. It is owned and operated by a very friendly family who are accomdating and helpful. They scheduled us a 4am taxi to take us to the airport and the owner was out there to make sure we got off OK. Impressed!

The bedspreads could be a lighter material since Costa Rica is in a warm climate.

The birds and breakfast were both excellent. I wish I had been able to stay away and look for owls! The desk manager gave us a great recommendation for nearby food since we arrived late at night.

The grounds are beautiful! I felt safe… It felt like a little oasis as soon as you came through the gate

My toilet was broken for the two days I stayed there and I reported it twice, at one point I was told if they couldn’t fix it they would change my room… Which never happened nobody ever came back a third time to follow up… I had to go downstairs to use the bathroom by the kitchen repeatedly.. on the last day my partner ended up fixing it himself so I wouldn’t have to go downstairs anymore.

Family run small hotel with very accommodating staff. Very nice outside restaurant in a quiet setting.

Due to the proximity to the airport and roads, the room was noisy.

Lots of parking, great food, excellent coffee.

Drinks were a bit pricey.

The garden for bird watching, the food, the sitting area, the quiet environs.

A family-owned small hotel. VERY well-kept beautiful gardens and grounds. They were super accommodating with a last-minute unscheduled airport shuttle after my flight was cancelled. Breakfast and dinner delicious. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable.

The property is very close to the airport and the location is also good. The breakfast is awesome and friendly staff. I personally appreciate Jashua for helping us to pick up our family members using shuttle from the airport even though the flight got delayed.

On a blind curve on a busy street with no sidewalks so didn't like the idea of walking anywhere.

Beautiful grounds, amazingly friendly staff - I was picked up at the airport, checked in, escorted to my room by a very friendly guy who spoke very good English, my sister left her purse at breakfast and a lady brought it to our room, great breakfast included, room was plenty spacious

Very convenient to the airport but that also means you hear planes coming in and taking off

Toilet had low pressure and didn’t completely flush. Water leaking from bathroom sink faucet onto floor. Shower head needs to be cleaned for a better flow. Airplane noise and road noise in the night.

Very beautiful environment the room is nice and clean and the service is excellent .Lorenzo the manager picked us from the airport ,and although it was late and the kitchen was closed , they prepared dinner for us. the next morning he took us back to the airport to pick our rented car.

Breakfast is too basic

The location was great for an early morning flight out of SJO—10min away at 4:30am.

The plumbing was not great: shower went from scalding to tepid constantly, toilet did not flush effectively most times. Door to my room could not be opened all the way, as it was too low to go over a bump in the adjacent tile floor. It was difficult to get in and out of the front gate.

Beautiful Oasis in San Jose, we got in at midnight and the security guard let us into our room. We checked in the next morning. Great place for late arrival from San Jose airport. The grounds are safe and spectacular! The breakfast I. The morning was delicious and authentic Costa Rican food with excellent coffe and fresh squeezed orange juice. Highly recommend “with you rental”service too. They picked us up from the airport at midnight and took us to our hotel and then picked us up from the hotel in the morning and drive us to the car rental.

Free transportation to the airport, great customer service, game me a free to go Bfast since my flight was early in the morning. Hotel was comfortable and well decorated, the pool was a nice extra.

Far away from downtown but the purpose was for an early flight, so it is OK.

My wife and I arrived mid-day on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed. Isabella at the check-in counter approached the kitchen about offering us some lunch options which was very kind. We both enjoyed a grilled chicken salad. The next morning, the airport shuttle driver was delayed arriving to work due to traffic congestion. The receptionist that morning (didn't get her name) arranged for an Uber to take us to the airport at the hotel's expense. The grounds were lovely and quiet with lots of birds. We were very satisfied with our stay.
