Pros +

The hot pools and swim up bar was excellent and the garden.
Staff, friendlyness, restaurant
Staff was courteous and eager to help Well maintained surroundings Great breakfast

Cons -

The hotel is rather dated and tired looking. There is nothing inherently wrong with it, but the cabin we were in seemed rather 'Flinstones-esque.' We also found the staff to be rather under-whelming as well - adequate service, but nothing more.
There was coffeemaker in the room but there was no coffee/tea in the room to brew. There are bugs in the room.
Did not spend enough time there

It was a great place to stay, tucked away. I was able to see the volcano from the pool, my room and the restaurant. Frogs were everywhere, birds all around. Sloth park was close. Activities were easy to arrange with the staff. The Spa was amazing!

Beautiful views of the volcano Arenal, yummy breakfast and juice. The bar by the pool is perfect for a wind-down after a day of exploration.

There was coffeemaker in the room but there was no coffee/tea in the room to brew. There are bugs in the room.
