Strategic location, quite modern room, great varieties of breakfast food, hospitable staffs

There is only 2 lifts for guests, it would be interesting addition if the hotel could build another lift in front of aisle window facing the main roads

Brilliant location, incredible facilities, extremely clean and new - we will be coming back

Ease of access to the mall

The bathroom in the room did not have an extractor fan which meant the toilet and foul smells lingered within the bathroom.

Conveniently adjacent to Artos Mall, the hotel has a nice restaurant, gym, and pool.

The location is very convenient because it is next to a shopping center with variety of food and supermarket. The suite room was nice and wide. Even the premiere king room was nice. There was a variety of food provided for breakfast, but not all very good. Maybe worth to mention, it is the only hotel that provides bolsters on the bed which is a plus for me!

In the suite room, the bathtub + shower was badly designed. Once you take shower while standing, the floor will be flooded. Even when you take a bath, it was quite a mess. The toilet seat is wide but the position is really weird and narrow as facing the wall.

We we given the mountains view rooms that are not only comfortable but gave us superb view on Merapi, Merbabu, and some other mountains.The swimming pool was clean with city view, but the wind and the water was too cold for us. The jacuzzi worked well and we could order food and drinks as well, and we used the discount voucher given when we checked in, made it even better.

We found spider webs on corners of the room and one of electric water jug has broken lid. But we were fine with that, and the jug was replaced right away after I informed them.

Staff at check-in were welcoming. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Anin. Convenient location next to Armada Town Square (ARTOS) mall. Buffet had a nice variety of western and local dishes. The porridge and Soto were delicious , as were the eggs cooked to order. the pancakes with chocolate syrup were fun as a dessert to breakfast.

Biggest issue is the sloooow elevators and lack of stairs. Only 2 cars and they had 10 floors to cover. Many conventions booked here so large groups used the elevators. I like to keep healthy by walking stairs but the stairwells were for emergency use. The buffet could have had a few more non-Indo options, and more sweets like chocolate donuts or filled croissants or ice cream. The toaster was set so low that it took 3 passes to toast a slice.

Hotel location was good, on top of a mall. Good place for transit stay (Drive between Jakarta-Semarang-Yogyakarta). Rooms were spacious and window was huge. Staff was super nice and helpful.

General property maintenance and cleanliness can be improved. Hotel/rooms are becoming outdated. Did not like the stairs from lobby to basement parking.

Location is very good, close to a Mall, got food court inside the mall and variety food for choice 。

WiFi provided is very slow。

Some staff really did an amazing job.Kudos for Mr. Teguh (operational manager), Ms. Natasha (Limaran staff), and Ms. Julieta (GSA/reception).

Some minor malfunctions in my room (602).And not necessarily hotel related but some guest are kinda rude and really loud, so i suggest anyone who read this to avoid smokin area in every floor.

Unfortunately i didnt have the breakfast but in prior stays it was excellent

Only Location.

We reserved 3 Rooms.2 premier rooms from booking.com1 room Upgraded to junior suite (not big).And It is Smell weird and bad!And my husband and I we stay at Royal Suite directed from the hotel.The only Royal suite in the hotel.The most expensive room they don’t sell it thru apps. Cleaning service work in minimal Concsious.There are No sign of paper written : Disinfected!We were out since early morning 8 am for event, and we got back to the hotel at 2 pm same day in the afternoon.There are stains everywhere, on the lid of the cup, bottom of the cup, saucer, fact is : They did not even wash the dishes (cups, saucers, glasses and tea spoon because I washed it my self! )- All Towels are Old and bad quality and they did not give the hand towels (there are when we arrived).- Shower is very very very Bad! The water spilled all over the ahower box, look dirty and they don’t even care to check and repair it!- When we checked in i saw the tissue roll was about to finished.And the next day, they don’t change it to new roll, not even add 1 roll for stock. Hate it!!- Closet seems not so old but it’s still look not clean and disinfected. And…. unbelievable the day after it smells like someone peed on the floor surround.- there are 2 Elevators, and Only 1 Elevator works to serve the whole 8 floors in this Pandemic Situation!!Can you imagine with, stay distance!And NO sign it’s been disinfected everyhour or so…Pandemic protocol Not working in this hotel!They just Don’t care.- the Staffs not so friendly with Javanese Manner as usual. (Other hotels they do!).Disappointing.So my advice : Don’t stay at gran artos hotel magelang.Find another hotels instead!Rather paying same but you feel so unsafe with the pandemic protocol and no hospitality from the staffs.Guaranteed, you’ll be disappointed.

Good location and bed type

Parking location confusing..breakfast low variation, too expensive for kids additional breakfast idr 100rb..

Location is very close to the mall and many tourist attractions and the room price is affordable.

Food was nice, security staff were friendly, front desk people were great, and it was a big place to look around.

Trip was too short!
