Blackwater Motor Inn

The location was in a great central spot. It was a three-minute drive to all places to a five-minute drive. Was very clean and tidy and the other guest were very quiet. the setup of entry to the room was amazing could not complain once I was told how to get into the room - note to oneself read the emails.

There wasn't much to dislike. Read your email to get into your room or be told how payment was being made, instead of making an idiot out of oneself.

Internet speed was very poor, even with only a few people there, facebook page mentioned a restaurant, but its been closed for a number of years

No hassle getting into room even thought there were no staff on arrival or departure. ps.. I hope they enjoyed the beers and West Coast Coolers i left in the fridge...lol

The lounge was uncomfortable and the TV too small. TV in bedroom would be nice as cannot lay to watch a movie on the small lounge.

Modern rooms with plenty of space. Quiet too.

No staff on site so no guidance or local knowledge available (knew this before booking but didn’t consider the downside). Included breakfast was also forgotten about until we enquired where it was.

The bed and pillows were comfortable . I struggle in strange beds but this one was fine. Water pressure and temperature were great.

Breakfast that was included in our deal didn’t exist? Also, it’s mainly miners staying there and they’re moving about from 4am slamming car and room doors and driving their noisy 4wd’s out so it was an early start as the rooms aren’t very noise proof

The best part was the staff.

Bit tired looking. Reception mostly closed. Poor wifi and wifi voucher system. No plug for bathroom basin for shaving.

Covered parking, good size and clean unit, easy to find. Bonus free breakfast!

There was some messy dirt on the path outside the unit that I had to dodge around so I didn't walk it into the unit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and well presented.

What a fabulous place. Was quiet and dark at night ( I love a dark room to sleep). Bed was comfy and bathroom spacious and clean. It is all you would want and more. Will stay again on my next trip.

We did not get a buffet or let alone a continental breakfast considering we paid for a breakfast at the motel Their idea of a continental breakfast was two wraps never had wraps for breakfast ever False advertising stating breakfast included The reception was also virtual

Nothing the whole stay was perfect

Customer service was great! Facilities were clean and tidy. Car park directly outside our room and under cover was great for our new car and allowed the unpacking and packing to be convenient.Quiet area!

Would have been nice to have a blanket available for the bed as it only had a sheet and a light cover on. We didn’t get cold as we set the a/c to a higher temp but we usually sleep with the a/c lower and under a doona at home. We did check in the cupboard but there were only spare pillows available. Also one of the condiments were out of date in the continental breakfast.

Breakfast was good i like how they leave it in your room when there are no chef's on the weekend
