Bed was comfortable, shower was nice - thats most of what I require.

WiFi didn't work. Didn't know about breakfast

If you are desperate, I guess a run-down room beats sleeping in your car...

The room is well overdue for refurbishment, especially considering the price. The breakfast is very basic, and there was no butter; reportedly, someone took the entire bowl.

Stained sheets, dirty puddle of water in shower upon arrival, room in desperate need of some tlc

I base my rate on the price I paid and I was very happy with the facilities. The beds were very comfortable, the aircon cool, convenient location.

Maybe some glassware. Otherwise for the price I couldn't ask for much.

Good location for what we needed to do. Room was good.Breakfast was good at the time of our stay. Clean looking dining area. Good Chef on duty. Easy check in/out

This is like a work camp for miners? Guests were noisy as early as 430am. We understand that they had to get ready to go to work but this is NOT a place for travellers who want to have a good sleep and sleep in a bit.

Good bed and room was clean and comfortable

Car parking set up is ordinary, with a lot of posts, painted black so you cant see them, large window at front of room with cheap curtains made it very hard to block out outside lights that are on all night.

Very clean, accessible, quiet.Not needing to drive anywhere else to get food. Breakfast included

it was quiet (for mina road near a trainline but really you hear the trains anywhere in blackwater). the staff were great the food tasty - i didnt like a few things but that was personal taste. i came back again. would stay again.

i didnt like the curtains in my room not blocking out the light and the blinds dont touch the wall either but i just leant my chair against them. i would have loved room service for the takeway meals. the smart tvs cant connect to the hotel wifi which sucks a little as im 100% factory resetting any tv i login to with my wifi, netflix account etc when i leave.

Booked in and our room was not clean got a new room left site and come back and someone else was in our room not happy had to go back to front office and ask what the hell going on manager had no ideal and said you should have left your bags in the room but i had my room key so what the hell

The breakfast was ridiculously good. The rooms were tidy and spacious. The meals were great. Honestly couldn't fault anything. Best value for money I've came across is a long time.

I would've liked for there to still be a pool. It was very hot on our stay and we would've really liked a cool dip in the afternoon. At least the beers were cold.

No breakfast they had a blackout and no TV and no apologies no refund it was bad and the staff were not helpful very expensive to stay there S162 PER NIGHT

Room was not dark at night TV was not working no power for coffee no air-conditioning it was a night mare

The price.

I had a very disappointing experience at Blackwater Hotel Motel. Upon check-in, I was greeted with the question, “Are you the showgirl?” which was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. This assumption caught me off guard and left me feeling uncomfortable.Regardless of context, such comments should never be made, as it sets a poor tone for a guest’s stay. Front desk staff should be trained to approach all guests with professionalism and respect.A little effort in guest relations would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

People were nice and helpful but this place is old and nasty and the hotel is connected with a drive through bottle shop. You may like it or not.

Furniture and equipment old and falling apart, linen maybe clean but there were bugs in the beds, no toilet paper in the room I got the keys to. Moreover in the pictures there is a swimming pool, but THE POOL NO LONGER EXISTS, there is a patch of gravel instead.

We booked this motel hotel purely on the advertised pool. Otherwise we would have booked elsewhere. We were visiting grandkids and thought a pool would be nice for the grandkids, this pool showed up on all platforms and when we arrived there was not pool. I own motels so I know this is wrong advertising.

The fact the photos showed a pool but there were not one. The shampoo despensers were empty, take them off the walls or fill them up. Carpets were disgusting. We know it’s a miners town but still it should be cleaned. No one told us the correct time for breakfast so we missed out twice.
