Pros +
- Room is confortable although there is no door to the bathroom. Staff is nice and the riad was quiet.
- Staff are so nice and helpful. Generous breakfast. Central location.
- The staff is so exceptionally kind, and they really make a point to take care of you. From the moment we arrived, to the minute we left, they were so attentive, generous, and always made sure our comfort was their priority. Our room was spacious, very clean, and quite beautiful - loved the lofted beds. Moreover, in the center of the riad, there is a lovely seating area, as well as a multi-recreational space to relax, read, work, or watch TV (lots of matches going on at the moment!). The breakfast was simple and delicious too!
Cons -
- Not sure if this is possible, but a little bit of natural lighting in the rooms would be amazing. That being said, this is a minor, minor concern as the room is very well lit otherwise.
- Taxi cannot reach the hotel. We had to walk with all the luggages for a few minutes before reaching. It’s difficult to have the bed room on the upper floor, so when you wake up for toilet, you have to come done stairs, which are not comfortable?
- Car parking is a ten-minute walk.

Very beautiful hotel, nice food and tea.

POV: Stayed in 5 Riads on Morocco vacation.Location: Easy access to the Riad from the street.Room: The room was great, clean, spacious and well setup.Breakfast: Great breakfast and service.Staff: Very friendly and helpful.
Everything was good, clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The room was very cozy and spacios. I would reccomend. Location in the center and close to walk to the ocean view.
It was very nice wonderful staff very helpful and perfect location and great breakfast
This felt like a little castle in the middle of the Medina. The walk to the Riad through the marketplace was great but left you wondering as to how the Riad would be. However once we entered the Riad we felt like we were transported to a magical destination. Great place, great staff, wonderful breakfast and fantastic stay. Highly recommended…
The staff at this riad were very sweet and kind. The breakfasts each day were delicious. The rooftop patio was a great place to relax with some mint tea and Moroccan cookies which the staff was happy to deliver upon request.
This a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Rabat Medina. Everything is walking distance. The decor is wonderful - traditional Moroccan house with wonderful rooms, beautiful courtyard, relaxing common area and a little sanctuary on the rooftop. The attention to detail is impressive. After staying for theee nights, we felt immersed in the high end Moroccan culture. The service is outstanding: custom breakfasts with Moroccan specialties are served a la carte in a beautifulsetting. Complimentary tea and cookies are served whenever you take a seat in the courtyard. We felt like on a custom $250,000 per week yacht charter. This is the place to stay in Rabat.
Car parking is a ten-minute walk.
Our stay at the Riad was absolutely wonderful. Its location is perfect — right in the heart of the Medina, yet close enough to easily walk to the beach and the river. We spent several days happily wandering through the nearby stalls, soaking up the atmosphere and local charm. Our room, located on the ground floor, was beautifully designed with a cozy sitting area and an upstairs sleeping loft. The bathroom was modern, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with eggs, fresh fruit, and an assortment of breads. The Riad was extremely clean and well maintained. We appreciated that the front door is kept locked for security, with a bell to ring for entry — it made us feel very safe. The staff was exceptionally kind and friendly, always ready with a smile or to offer help when needed. They even arranged our taxi when it was time to leave, which made our departure seamless.Overall, this Riad provided a peaceful and charming home base in Rabat, and we would gladly stay here again.
The loft steps were a bit much at times to go down to the bathroom. But..I am 71 and did it. When we checked in the staff asked if we wanted the bed moved down....so accommodating..we said no. The Riad is not accessible by car..you need to get out at main street and walk in about 2.5 blocks with luggage.
The Riad was very authentic and full of Moroccan charm. Everything was perfect — clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Abdou -Zahirou was extremely kind and helpful; he carried our luggage upstairs since there’s no elevator, did our laundry for free, cooked shakshuka upon request even though it wasn’t on the menu, and served Moroccan tea late at night. His hospitality made us feel at home.
What didn’t you like about the property?Everything was great, but it would have been even better if they provided toothbrushes and slippers.
Wonderful Riad, amazing breakfast, beautiful rooms tucked away in the Medina!
The location, the staff, they included breakfast on the rooftop patio, the spacious room, and the easy check in and check out process were all things we enjoyed about this property.
The building is beautiful, but the colour scheme makes it seem a bit dated. The entry doors to each room were a bit loud. These are super small things though. I would definitely recommend the property.
The Riad is very nice and clean. The staff is very polite and helpful.
Abdo is a great and helpful host. He is really nice and welcoming. The location is perfect. Simplicity is the best description for this place. Simple and nice. Not complicated or sophisticated. Nice breakfast on the terrace.
For the price - service ratio, it is very good and nothing more expected.
Firstly, the Riad Amaris is so well decorated. We loved the colors that has been used to decorate this beautiful traditional Moroccan home, so welcoming, and so well blended together. Very nice staff, Abdul is wonderful. He was very helpful to us during our stay also arranging taxi and suitcase transfer when we were leaving. The Terras is gorgeous, and the breakfast is well prepared and very fresh. The room was clean, we stayed in the family room, yet we were not on top of each other, because the room was very well designed. I highly recommend this wonderful Riad, right in the beautiful Rabats medina.
The host was so nice ,, super clean ,, very well maintained property with great Moroccan ambiance!! Great location,, property is located within the Medina ,, inside Medina no cars allowed,, so once you get down near the drop off at the Medina entrance,, it’s a just 2mins walk to the property,, Riad Amaris is not in a Main Street of Medina ,, it’s just a few meters ( 5meteres ) off a main street,, so it has its own bite of tranquility,, however still little noisy compared to a normal stay ,, but quite considering it’s in the Medina .Warm hearty breakfast,, great value for money,, This is a gem of a stay if you’re looking for a place to stay inside the Medina !!
The location was awesome. Close to the ocean and Kasbha. It was in the Medina that was so lively that as a solo female I felt safe coming home from a later dinner. It was down a smash side street no too far and very quiet! The best part which is what always makes or breaks a place for me was the people that worked there. So very kind and nice! Recommend 100%
Stuff super friendly. Room was beautiful. Location was great
Aircon didn’t work as expected. Never cool down the room
