    Pros +

    • clean cool room well appinted
    • There were three of us. The room was spacious: it looked more like an apartment with its own separate living room. Easy access to the building (we arrived very late at night). The hotel is located in the heart of beautiful Lismore.
    • Spacious and light. Charming. Great location. Green tea.

    Cons -

    • some grunge in the cupboards
    • Taps dripped. Bed was too soft for my liking.
    • It is not disable friendly. There were to many stairs for someone with a cane.

This hotel was lovely overall. The beds were so comfortable. With double glazing on the windows made the room so quiet

Great location and staff, with convenience of pub wining and dining downstairs. Some lovely old-style pub ambience. Good value for money.

The room was dark, with no view. Bedside reading light was ineffectual. There weren't enough blankets, so I had to turn on the aircon, which i hate. Taps dripped.

The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere with lots of restaurant choices close by

Unfortunately my room faced the courtyard and I like to open my window to get fresh air, so I could hear the patrons and the band playing. However the noise died down around 11pm so not that late.

    Loved the location

The washes on all taps in the bathroom need to be replaced- serious dripping particularly from the shower head.

Contactless entry was great and central location was awesome. the venue downstairs was a lovely vibe and the bed was comfortable

The bathroom was unclean as a dirty hand print and previous hair was left in the shower, toilet and sink. Milk was over a month expired from the fridge, and shower also leaked constantly throughout the night.Room also smelt unpleasant and also resembled nothing like the pictures adviteresed for the room we booked.

The room was very clean and comfortable

One of the courtesy milks was off

    7MichelliePosted on: 4-13-2025

The floor was extremely loud and creaky when walking on it and the door was very loud when closing. There was also paint falling off my ceiling/a tear in my roof. The bed is extremely comfy though.

The staff at the pub were very helpful including the cleaner

Unable to contact management! My husband had eye surgery and we needed to access the room earlier if possible. When we finally moved into the room there were no chairs for my husband to rest in

Very small room, shower leaked continually and tap in bathroom also leaked continually. There was no one to tell.

Central location, beautiful old building, lots of room in apartment, comfortable and easy to enter using door code.

Fire drill at 3am in morning, had to evacuate building with other guests and wait on road to be given the call clear to enter building again. Tried ring emergency number attached to booking no answer ?

Great location, central but quiet. Next to great cafe, The Bank. Easy parking. Comfortable bed, nice art work. Check in and out was easy.

Bathroom was small and fittings quite worn and dated.

    7ChristinePosted on: 3-10-2025

The room was clean and though old (it's an old building), was reasonably well maintained. There was a loud hum from some sort of machine outside that forced me to leave the window shut overnight. However, the window has two glass sliders which blocked the noise almost entirely. The bed was quite comfortable and the minimal decoration with a black and white colour scheme was nice. It was quick and easy to get in with no in person check-in or check-out. Air conditioning is quiet and works well.

There were some minor maintenance issues that needed repairing. This included the sliding door for the cupboard was broken on one side, the light fixture over the desk had come lose and one of the shower handles was also lose. These are minor things that can be easily fixed. The chair was too low to be able to comfortably work at the desk, but again, this is quite minor.

Was impressed with the room for the price especially after staying at a hotel in Newcastle recently & it didn't have a tv,kettle or fridge. Would stay again

The shower needs attention other than that it's a great venue. Central to everything, clean, tidy & comfy

meals in Dining area OK but a little expensive. Handling heavy luggage up and down the stairs was a challenge however staff member helped us taking them up but no one around to assist when we left at 7.30 am.

there is a need to refurbish furniture in bedroom and bathroom .Had to leave our car at a family house and use Taxi to and from hotel due to no parking except if one wanted to park in street and go back and forth moving car so not to get parking fines.

The room was large and modern but sadly let down by a cheap bed and basic bed linen ! A great large tv a beautiful bathroom and amazing shower head …. Overall a nice room ….. we had dinner at the restaurant but let down by the two meals first meal was a pumpkin salad with chicken and the other prawn linguine

The bedding / mattress, pillows and linen …. Everything else was perfect
