Country Rose Motel Warwick

For fellow Americans: if you loved Route 66, you’ll want to try the Cunningham Thruway in QLD. When you emerge from the construction, you may want to enjoy a night in an authentic “Motel” from the 50s, lovingly restored by Les. Clean & basic, it offers a hark back to simpler times, but with Internet access. Les knows his town, & can recommend a number of options for food or entertainment. You’ll meet “real” Australians as your fellow guests. Simple albeit pricey accommodation on the edge of town; spotless & safe.

Not dislikes, just additional information:This was a tourist motel, not a glitzy high-rise: don’t expect it to be.If road noise disturbs you to the point of not sleeping, this may not be your ideal location: the highway is only a few yards away.

Was lovely clean. My husband said owner was very lovely man. Would stay there again.

We have stayed at this motel several times now. Very comfortable and good value for money. It is next to the highway so some road noise can be heard but does drop off late at night. It's a little bit out of town but still close enough to the fast restaurants.

We loved our room. It was spacious for our family of 3. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in town. ?

What a wonderful friendly check in experience, from the extra bottles of milk for an afternoon coffee, and an extra key fob to allow the aircon to stay of (I was travelling with dogs) when I was not in the room. I will most definitely be staying again if I on my next trip to Warwick. This was a work trip, I just had to bring my dogs along for this one. A neat and tidy room, super comfortable beds and pillows. We went into town for a pub meal (Horse and Jockey Hotel which was also wonderful).

Just pack some earplugs if you are a light sleeper, nothing against the hotel but if you can be disturbed by traffic, the location is next to the main road out of town. I had no issues at all, but someone sensitive may do.

Very clean, well supplied, comfortable bed. Extra little touches like power boards near the bed, free wifi, biscuits with coffee. Friendly manager.

Always fabulous service. Calls you by name & had the AC going in the room for you.Very clean lovely memory foam mattress toppers. Parking outside door & wide parks. Safe to open doors without hitting someone car. Windscreen cleaning station.Little extras freedom frog chocolate for your cup of coffee. Salt pepper BBQ sauce etc in case you forgot to pack some. All cutlery clean & bagged in cupboard. Better standard of tea coffee & hot chocolate than most hotels. Tasty biscuits too. It's very much appreciated after long hot trip.

Close to the h’way but not much u can do about that

On arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, explaining everything I needed to know and offering assistance if needed. The room was clean and spacious, with an extra bed as well as a box of Roses chocolates. Next time I'm in Warwick, this is the place I'll be staying.

So clean and comfortable, huge bathroom for a motel and such a comfortable bed. Les is the greatest host and has a strong sense of customer service.
