Carpet was wet and stunk. Given a floor fan, that they just happened to have on hand, to dry floor while we were out. Hired a villa too. Cockroaches everywhere including in the Air Con. Never stay there again.

The room stunk, carpet was wet, dead cockroaches around floors and live ones came out of Air con when turned on. The Villa is in disrepair not maintained well at all. Definitely the worst place we've stayed in by a long way.

Good location

Uncomfortable, run down, literally falling apart, room on main road, cars all night, aircon has bright lights you could read by, yet couldn't turn off because room was so stuffy. Pool area disgusting, everything chipped, broken tiles, rickety pool fence.Furniture falling apart, dubious stains on everything. I have renamed it the Discomfort inn and will be staying elsewhere when I return to Cleveland this week.

Close to transport and shopping

There was a horrible smell in the room that was so bad I couldn’t sleep.The room looked relatively clean but the smell may have come from underneath the carpet.Also the lighting was bad as I walked around to the rear entrance. There was someone in the front of the building drinking alcohol but keeping to themselves.Security lighting would have made me feel safer

Location to Cleveland town center and Cleveland railway station. The room had two comfortable double beds with clean linen.

The rooms and bathroom were very dated and lacked any decor or atmosphere. The lighting was extremely bright and poorly situated around the room. The room/carpet had a very strong deodorized aroma as though it was masking a smoking smell. There were small cockroaches in the room when we arrived. No security with access doors being left unlocked and propped open all night. Due to Christmas holidays, other guests towing large trailers or campers parked across all guest parking near the rooms.

Not given the room i booked, was given a room up stairs with on ability to leave as doors and lifts were shut for the night, so was locked in, with out any egress. Had to ask to be moved to the room we booked which was accessible down stairs, they were reluctant to give it to me. They did not assist with moving rooms, and the room was dirty, all surfaces where filthy, fridge door has black greasy hand prints all over it, bathroom floor was dirty. There is no access from the disabled car space, you need to go up the drive to an access ramp. There is poor lighting. In the carpark. There is a large tile missing on the walk way, which is a trip hazard. You will need to use a toilet chair over the toilet, to access. There are no bars.If you cannot use stairs, do not get an upstairs room as there is no egress in the event of an emergency, this hazard was pointed out to the staff.Staff do not seem to be trained at all. Very confused and not knowledgeable at all.

Good location.

The rooms need an update. We have never stayed at this motel before and received a message that we needed to check in prior to 7.30pm. So we left a family dinner and arrived at 7.10 but then received a message that we had to locate a safe and get a key. No checkin..no staff. Very impersonal. The air-conditioning needs work..couldn't turn the fan down..it was freezing or hot.. no in-between.

No food or casual Bar available at the property. But there is plenty of other places to go too in very close proximity.

The back doors to the lower floors were left open all night. I was concerned about the safety of those staying in those rooms.

It's worth noting that my overall experience was quite unpleasant.

It was hands down the worst experience of my life. The room was absolutely filthy and smelled absolutely awful. The smell was so overpowering and nauseating, it really felt like a dirty dog had been living in it. The towels were equally disgusting, covered in mud and stains. The service was terrible to boot, and the mattress was so uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep a wink. I woke up feeling absolutely exhausted and decided to leave as soon as possible.I want my refund but nobody was able to assist me and being Christmas everywhere was full... Honestly, I don't really care in the grand scheme of things, but it's still quite embarrassing to see a motel that boasts a 3-star rating and has zero reviews despite it. While I realize that it might be an older establishment, the overall cleanliness and the condition of the room were far from satisfactory, to be frank.It's difficult to put into words just how unhygienic the bathroom situation was.

It’s close to town, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is large clean and comfortable.

Little details would help, eg the soap holders (3 of them) over the wash basin were all empty. The fridge is noisy.

I like the proximity to Cleveland station, business district and Cleveland Pt. I also enjoy the pool facilities

Room prices increasing from $200 to $350 on weekends is frustrating.

The air con leaked water so had to turn it off and open a windows as it was too hot. Noise from walkway and public event through open windows.

We were upgraded at no additional cost

Place was run down, maintenance was required in our upgraded room. I asked for this to be completed and was advised it would be done that day. It wasn't.
