Hot tub and Fire place on a cold winter night! Romantic and Relaxing!

The breakfast was very generous and fresh. Just a short drive to Montville and the lovely hinterland. The wildlife was a bonus with lovely birdcalls, and the resident bush turkey and possum made it even more special.

Easy to get to, good accommodation. Information given spot on.

Few spiderwebs around, your in the bush but could be sprayed and wiped down.

The cottage was exactly what we wanted. It was beautiful and secluded and we loved the fireplace and the lovely spa bath. The hosts were awesome. Excellent communication

All the items for a breakfast, to suit most tastes, are provided along with crockery and cutlery. The location was very relaxing with only the sound of a distant water fall and birds, and at the end of every day, just sitting on the back veranda with a glass of wine was magical. This was the antidote to the 24/7 noise and stress of the big city.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. If you are on a romantic holiday you don't really need too much else besides your partner to have a great time.

It was very spacious and cosy

That outside was overgrown and we couldn’t even access the outdoor spa as the fauna was everywhere. I believe it could have been kept cleaner even despite the location. A broom to remove excess fauna before a stay would have been nice. We didn’t sit outside where the bbq was for the same reason. Pillows weren’t comfortable. No bathrobes. Dishes in kitchen were dirty. The kitchen didn’t have candles for outside. Furniture a bit dated.

Secluded, but not too far from Montville and surrounds. The spa bath was a perfect, the bed was comfy and the music on the usb was a nice touch. Loved the whimsical woodwork - just enough to give the room a magical aura.

The cabins are far enough apart that you feel like you're the only people for miles. The bath was brilliant and we loved the music on the TV.

No WiFi. Very difficult to communicate.

Peaceful and quiet, tucked away in the rainforest. Spacious apartment, comfortable bed and the breakfast for my stay was perfect! Thank you for the thought you put into the personal touches!

Clean, Nice perfect for a couple complimentary bacon eggs yogurt and bread was lovely

The room was very bright during the early mornings Didn’t love that my partner could watch me take a shit through the little window

We loved Hunchy Hideaway. Very peaceful and serene environment. Jack and Lana were very helpful, great hosts.

I loved the privacy of the balcony and the bath tub. The hideaway had heaps of information about surroundings areas and the hideaway and history

The property was not the cleanliness.

Breakfast nice and lovely private accommodation. Very spacious cottage and we got a free upgrade

There wasn't much not to like. Outdoor light out the back did not seem to work.

On arrival they had bacon and eggs, fresh bread and yoghurt pre loaded in the fridge. Amazing. Coffee machine. Spa bath. Private and cozy. You really don’t need to leave!

We are frequently staying at hideaway’s & peaceful retreats, just a bit of feedback as we know it’s important to receive..* more shelving & storage areas for both clothes to be hung up in the bedroom area & bathroom items to be placed in the bathroom may be needed.* More towels to be provided in the room - at least one set for the spa & a set for the shower.. we only had 1 towel each to use over our 2 night stay. even though it does say to ask for more if required - just to have them on hand without having to ask for anything else may keep the relaxing atmosphere sustained ?With minimal sunshine to dry them outside it made it a bit uncomfortable.* Other guests walking past our cabin to look into other cabins - not appreciated.Even though it does say in your information booklet to be respectful to guests- some guests don’t seem to care.Overall we did enjoy our time.

We absolutely loved this little cabin among the trees. It was so quiet, peaceful and private. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Walking through spiderwebs across the path to get there. I hate spiders! Wasn’t enough to worry me though and very small price to pay for such a beautiful location.

Location was relaxing and peaceful. Cabin was private and secluded, with a beautiful rainforest outlook. Check-in instructions were comprehensive, clear and personalized. The whole experience made us feel welcomed and prioritized and lead to a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

The location was great. The cottage was perfect for us. We were looking for a great escape from the city. This cottage was perfect for what we are looking for with all the country trimmings you are looking for. Breakfast inclusion was great. Having a bbq and possums that visit at dinner time, spa bath within the room and a fire place. Very quite which was lovely. Montville centre of shops are also a short drive up over the hill.. about 4 mins to be exact.

Only small comment for things that could be a bit of a downside was that the cottage needs some slight wall patching and a fresh lick of paint. The curtains could also do with a wash and It was also quite dusty. But if you look past that, as those things really dont take away from having an enjoyable stay,, it really was such a lovely romantic getaway. The small touches the owners made with sweet treats and music on entry was just divine.
