Heaven on earth! Comfortable beds and spacious rooms in a peaceful setting!

The place is gorgeous. I enjoyed walking around the property and through a rainforest track.

The food sorry to say was very disappointing when it should be excellent at such a gorgeous place. With so many kitchen staff it was surprising they showed no sign of any professional training although they were enjoying dining themselves. Where were all the beautiful fresh ingredients that are produced in this area?Maleny has exceptional fresh food and the best ingredients and we want to see this! Maleny milk and other dairy foods are exceptional in this area as well as the highest quality meat and vegetables. This should be showcased! For example roast beef, lamb and chicken, the freshest eggs and dairy food should be the backbone of the meals here with the best vegetables available. Instead there was luke warm mixed up melanges of unrecognisable ingredients cut into small shapes and as tasteless as you can get. Anything unusual as an omelette (which is fresh cooked real ingredients) seemed to be a problem and badly cooked. Even with small things like bread and butter, the kitchen staff couldn’t have made this more unappetising, stale or commercial. There should be freshly baked bread and the freshest butter from the area. All is not well in this part of the resort, and it should be.

It’s in a stunning location, just a short walk to Montville town centre which is picturesque, quaint & very laid back

The property was a lovely space.

Outdated decor and rooms not well maintained. Air conditioning not fully working. Restaurant CONSTANTLY understaffed- breakfast took over an hour and all dinners were 2+ hours. Orders were forgotten, not placed or staff not properly trained to take orders.

The staff for lunch and dinner left a lot to be desired. Drinks took over an hour. Staff seemed flustered despite the place not being that busy. Food was amazing when it arrived, though given we still didn’t have our drinks it was a little frustrating.

Everything the grounds are stunning, the rooms are clean and beautiful, very private, staff are excellent and very professional.

Didn’t love the meals. We had dinner and breakfast none of which I rated.

Everything at Spicers was beyond our expectations. The ambience, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the decor and the gardens were absolutely incredible. We had the most wonderful couple of days and will certainly return in the future. The breakfasts each morning were superb and the staff were so polite and lovely. We found it very hard to leave!

There was a lip between the room and the bathroom which we tripped on and fell into the mini bar and smashed a wine bottle which was sitting on the edge of the table. Dangerous and poorly set up.

Breakfast was a highlight, the view amazing. Beds were amazing. The gardens beautiful.

Level of service from staff was inconsistent. On arrival having come an hour early we dropped by asking if room happened to be ready, staff member seemed annoyed at being interrupted, without asking our name said room wouldn’t be ready until check in time. We went away & came back later. No problem with not getting early check in- more a problem with the unwelcoming reception. Room seemed a little tired.

Breakfast was very adequate and served overlooking the outdoor lawn and the surrounding area. Everything was very pleasant with a delightful ambience. We have stayed here on 4 previous occasions and will come again for another 2 day break

The room was rather noisy, hotwater heater in cupboard switched on continuously. Other room’s activities can be heard.

Lovely setting, very comfortable.

Small things like dirty windows, being told we could order some ‘light bites’ only to wait an hour before being told the kitchen was closed.

Bastille day lunch was very good. Breakfast was perfect. The room was very nice and comfortable.

We found air conditioning/heater a bit too noisy.

restaurant menu too limited when u have to eat there for 3 dinners straight . not enough staffs serving although they are all very nice. pool was not heated for mild winter swimming .

When we entered there was an empty ice cream container bear the coffee saying somethibg on the outside and had food crumbs in it. I put it in the cupboard. It was slightly disappointing
