The staff were not helpful and rude when I pointed out to them there was no sign on the bedroom or bathroom doors about any $100 extra charge.

Great position, close to everything.

Air conditioner was noisy in kids bathroom. Only given 1 set of keys for 3 people staying. Very small living space. Remote for air conditioner not working in main living area.

The location and staff were friendly.

Shower was full of hair- on shampoo and conditioner bottles too.

The apartment was dated and not maintained very well. All the lounges were dirty and stained. The bathroom was very unclean, toilet seat was stained and not clean, shower recess very dirty and needed a good scrubbing. The carpet in bedroom was marked and dirty. All the windows were dirty, including the balcony railing, also the floor of the balcony was gritty and sandy. Overall the state of the unit was disappointing and unacceptable. The unit was overpriced and underwhelming. Will never go back and will not recommend. Our son stay at First Light also and had the similar experience as we did.

Good location and it was clean.

We arrived at 4.40pm (after onsite check out closed on a Saturday). We picked up our keys and opened the room and someone else was in there. We quickly left before they realised. It took 55 minutes (yes nearly an hour) before someone arrived to give us the correct keys to the correct room. It was such a hot day - late January- and it had been hot all week - looking forward to a swim when we finally checked in. The pool was SO cold. We met 2 couples whilst we were at the pool and they also found the pool too cold.The couch was comfortable until you leant of it and the back fell off! lol Between 4 of us in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment we just didn’t know what to do with the 200ml of milk in the fridge (yes, sarcasm) - thanks for the thought - so we bought our own.

Location, new building. Great location close to shops and the beach.

Overall cleanliness and maintenance for the property, considering it was a fairly new build. Poor construction and ongoing maintenance and cleaning within the unit and outside.

Pool is very small, almost uncomfortable to get in when someone else is in there. We were on ground floor so looked at a retaining wall. I would expect a little more for the money but understand prices are elevated on school holiday.

This is the second time I have stayed there, both time the rooms have not been cleaned properly.

I loved the location and ease of checking in and out of the property.

The kitchen and dining room were not super clean and there were a lot of stains on the dining room table.

Convenient location for our specific trip

The apartment was dirty - long black hairs in both bathrooms, sock left in dryer, cobwebs on balcony, floors in lounge, balcony, kitchen & carpets not clean, food scraps under one of the couches, & paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. Car space so narrow we had to reverse car to open doors to access. Very expensive for the standard of accommodation.

We liked that the property was just across the road from the main strip and beach. It was close to Coles and easy to walk to areas as it was central. Free foxtel and bedding was clean plus comfortable.

After complaining that our key wasn’t working and we had to turn it hard where it felt like it was gonna break, all we got was “that’s never happened before”. The pool was a lap pool and freezing cold even for sunshine qld. For a family apartment you all couldn’t sit in the main area as the couch was a 2 seater. I thought staff could have been more welcoming especially when it came to recommending on places to go.
