Pacific Beach Resort

Very spacious and comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. Beautiful outlook on the beach and right in the centre of things. Great place to stay!

The entire apartment was lovely, nice decor and an amazing view of the ocean. The main bedroom was located to the rear of the apartment, which was important as we visited at quite a busy time, with lots of families with young children on our floor, so noise was not an issue. After-hours entry was simple and the staff helpful and accomodating.

Location and view were excellent. Room was nicely appointed, modern and clean. The main bathroom shower was exceptional.

Nothing, everything was as you would expect it.

Location was great for quick access to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and beach. Great view from our ocean front room.

Reception was unattended when we arrived and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes until the receptionist returned from lunch to be able to check-in. Our room was large with nice views but quite dirty. The floors left your feet black if you walked around barefoot, there was visible dirt in the bottom of some of the cupboards and the tracks of the robe doors were filthy and obviously not been vacuumed in months. When we turned down the bed on the first night it looked as though the sheets had been slept in or as if someone had been laying on the bed prior. The sheets also felt grainy like there was sand in them. We would have rung reception and asked for clean sheets but reception was unattended.

The accommodation is in the perfect location with easy access to shops, cafes and the beach (although the current work the council is doing to upgrade the beach front made it a longer walk).We selected an ocean view apartment and the view was beautiful with full ocean views. The apartment we had was older but a great size and very clean. The pool was clean and refreshing. Will definitely stay there again.

As with all apartment accommodation the car park spaces can be a bit tight.

The reason I chose this hotel was because all of the rooms had ocean views so that was a big positive for us.

The air-conditioning units in each of the three bedrooms had a problem which meant there was a loud noise every few minutes for the entire time they were on. Obviously, this affected our sleep and we felt like we couldn’t use them. The unit also hadn’t been vacuumed well enough because there was still sand on the floors. The sink in the main bedroom ensuite was almost impossible to use (tiniest sink ever) whereas the main bathroom sink was of a normal size. The toilet seat lid was also broken in the main bathroom. And of course there was the problem with having no drop-off location - either while checking in or for guests to drop off luggage before trying to find a park

Good sized rooms, great view and clean. Liked the extras like laundry washing liquid.

The aircon in room 41 - it needs aircon in the 2nd and 3rd rooms and the aircon in the main room makes buzzing sounds every few minutes.

Views were 10/10. Location was fabulous. Apartment was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. The pool was nice.

Loved it mostly. The floor plan of the master bedroom was a bit quirky but livable. Would be nice to have some pantry staples (more Tupperware, glad wrap, S&P, etc).

rooms and building are very dated and need a make over. carpark was very tricky getting in and out of and we had to keep moving our car every time we had to access the tailgate as the head room was limited. quite a wait on lifts at times.been to lots of other accommodation that has better facilities and is better priced for what was available to us.

Grossly overpriced for this unrenovated early 80s, run down apartment. Avid traveller - Absolutely over charging for apt 24. The single elevator was on the brink of breaking down every trip. The trash chute was DISGUSTINGLY SMELLY. It made me gag. The reception was non existent and hardly ever attended. The "renovated pool" was tiny considering the size of the shared facility. It was awful. Drop your prices. You're $200 MORE EXPENSIVE than THE CALILE! Get real!

This accomodation is set in the prime area on the Esplanade at Mooloolaba. The views are incredible for ocean view rooms and proximity to restaurants and choices for ice cream is huge! Excellent to step out the door for a run, playgrounds for kids etc. You truly don't need a car unless you plan to go exploring other areas in the Sunshine Coast.

The Ocean view I was sold was NOT what I received and there is no way to ensure this. Disappointed for the amount we spent on accommodation. We specifically picked 1 bed room apartment to get a best view possible but we got maybe a third of what we expected to see in the booking page.

Small balcony with no BBQ. Master bedrooms bathroom en-suite was tiny and had no door. WC was in full view of bed so definitely no privacy. Air conditioning very noisy with a droning sound kicking off every 5 minutes.

The location was great, lovely beach views.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was out of date and had a bad smell like a combination of mould and urine. Definitely would not stay there again. Only one lift servicing the building and parking was very confined. I heard there were better, renovated units in the building which would have been good. Seems like we got the worst one but still paid a premium for it.

Staff were disgruntled and had been coached to say phrases that exempted them from taking responsibility so that when you talked to them they repeated excuses that did not answer questions put to them, e.g. It's Christmas. We knew it was Christmas that was the reason for our stay. Wifi went out and no one came to restart the router even though they knew it was out and it would only take a few minutes to fix. The whole building was disgruntled by this as no one could settle to watch Netflix or similar after a big day. A staff member was vacuming the lobby, which was a disgrace, with headphones on and a phone in her hand watching Tic Toc. She didn't even look up when we exited the lift and said good morning, possibly because she was engrossed on her phone.

Location of property was great and overall 3 bedroom was comfortable and tidy.

On arrival we found the manner of the staff member we dealt with was off hand and rude. Her communication to us was unclear so we questioned it as we were paying for it. Not a positive start to our holiday at The Pacific Beach Resort!

Great beachfront location. Newly renovated apartments are well equipped. Pool and spa renovated well.

Beds are hard and uncomfortable (probably depends on what unit you get). Level 2 beachfront apartments is right over the pool and can be noisy with the kids in the pool… but to be expected for a family style apartment.
