Y Motels Kingaroy

Nice & clean. Typical sized rooms for a Motel. Plenty of Tea, Coffee & suger. Toaster, Microwave & Electric Jug.

Bit more cleanliness outside, rubbish blowing around, Rubbish wheelie-bins overflowing.

It was overall a very nice atmosphere, the staff were friendly and the rooms were incredibly clean.

The pillows were awful, I felt like I was sleeping on rocks. My partner found the mattress to be quite tough as well.

Tv had no sound on many stations. Only 1 x coffee cup. Had to request additional cup. Super tiny bathroom. Exhaust fan didn't work in bathroom.

Road noise was loud, but that can't be helped with the location.

There was a bit of road noise but everything else was great. Comfy beds and great hot water

Another guest stayed in hotel but left his 2 working dogs in the car, and they barked many times in the night, waking me up. Not the fault of the motel, just an irresponsible dog owner.

When I checked in I told the Manager that I was looking forward to watching the Rugby League game on TV that night. She told me that the room only had a small TV. Five minutes later, she arrived at the room with a new larger TV.

Motel Holiday rooms are small but perfectly functional. They have recently been tastefully re-furbished and they are clean with everything is well-maintained.

Nothing really, but as a business traveler, I always prefer to stay in accommodation that provides meals. Unfortunately Motel Holiday doesn't provide dinner or breakfast.

Rooms were clean & well presented & the lady in the office was lovely!

Thought it was a little pricey but it was a long weekend for Australia Day so I did take that into account.

Simple, very clean and comfortable for what we needed. We really liked everything from the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, right down to the tea, coffee and biscuits that was included. Thank you for an enjoyable stay ?

The staff were so lovely and the manager was amazing!! We were travelling with a new born and 2 jack russles. We were able to book the room next door for my father in law for a few nights while he was passing through town....saved him from a crying baby all night...the manager swapped a few things around to make it happen.....meant so much to us!!!

Comfortable room for overnight stay. Kitchenette was well stocked. Bathroom was very tidy and clean.

The Location was perfect for me as e everything we needed was close by .The pool was nice to relax in and we enjoyed playing ping pong .

I didn't like how the bathroom door didn't stay closed , we had to put the bin Infront of it to keep it closed when in use.

Just outside town and even though on the main road it was surprisingly quiet.The bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot. There were little extras like welcoming chocolates. An iron and board in the cupboard. It was clean.

Everything was clean. The rooms had a modern look, facilities and price was amazing

They do not supply breakfast or any food. They do supply beer, etc which I don't drink.The staff member was lovely - told me where to get a decent dinner and to let her know if I needed anything but no phone doesn't make this easy.They did not tell me about the wifi so I could not use it even thoughI needed to and there was no phone to call the office when I was ready to use it.There was a lot of noise from the road during the night which made it difficult to have a decent night's sleep.

Room was exactly what was needed. Very comfortable.

Kingaroy has a REAL taxi problem. The streets are not lit at night and a five minute taxi translates to a one and a half hour walk being chased by dogs down unlit streets with patchy internet. Having two taxi drivers servicing the entire town with no Uber available... I'll be driving myself or camping next time because I can't commit to attending a tournament in Kingaroy where I may be forced to walk 1.5 hours down those dark streets again. At one point I picked up a stick to fend off a large dog that seemed to get the hint. Just wanted a taxi - phoned them 35 times and was hung up on several times. Thanks for nothing Kingaroy Taxis! Y motel was great by contrast. The Key was in the combination safe and the code was faithfully sms'd. The unit was clean and comfortable with airconditioning and TV, a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Checking out was simply a matter of switching off the power and returning the key. Seamless and great value.
