Artesian Spa Motel

Clean comfortable room and a generous breakfast. The pools were very relaxing.

Whilst our room and the restaurant was very clean, the rest of the grounds needed a good clean up. The paths and the areas around the pool need a good water blast or paint. All around the grounds you would see small pieces of rubbish or garden refuse. Behind our "garden room" was an old discarded lounge. Maintenance seemed to be an issue with our bathroom door not being able to be closed due to swelling. A power point loose on the wall and not working.

Location was good. Bed was very comfortable.

Fridge didn’t work properly, nothing was cooled. Aircon wasn’t working efficiently & took a very, very long time to cool down. Check in was disappointing, felt like we were too much trouble and he wasn’t courteous. Email had advised they had a restaurant & availability of ready-to-eat meals to heat up… when I asked about the meals the guy’s response was, “we don’t have any, got no kitchen”. I understand that being Boxing Day, things may be different to usual, but there was no explanation why “got no kitchen”. I believe the email we received should have advised any changes prior to our arrival.

There are 3 pools at this property Cold , Warm ,and Hot. They are great and definitely a great feature.The restaurant area was exultant . The view over the creek at night was stunning.

The rooms are large and clean with everything needed for a great stay but they do need a refresh.

Booked it for the spa pool but also really loved the restaurant. Location so central I was able to walk downtown to park for the Parkrun on Saturday.

Spa was amazing. Both indoor and outdoor spa pools. Breakfast included was a bonus. Lovely staff

The particular room that we had was a bit cramped. But still all we need for one night

We had a small patio area out the back, which was great not really private but a lovely space to sit for breakfast, read a book or a wine. There is access to three pools and outdoor lounging area. Enjoyed the heated pool.

Room was very dirty and very dusty. Everything was old. During the shower the hot water would run out for around 5 minutes

The restaurant meals are always excellent. The chef is an artist with meal presentation and taste and the ambiance is great

The room was very poorly lit and outdated. Needs a lot of upgrades.

Comfortable Rooms. Pools were wonderful & Outdoor Furniture lovely.

The mineral pool

Our room was not cleaned at all or not cleaned well enough. Bathroom smelt, 1” Hole in bathroom fly screen so could leave window open to let out the smell. Kitchen draws had tea or similar there from prior occupant on top face of drawer and on the floor below. Drawers smelt and I didn’t go near the bottom draw in case old food in there.

Place was dirty pools need cleaning the room we first was given had cobwebs on the ceiling lawn needs attention weeds knee high would not recommend this place for anyone else

The bathroom fan & top of shower was dirty, and the lack of a shower curtain was noticeable. The window was also dirty, which detracted from the otherwise nice view.All over the facility could benefit from some TLCAnd a thorough clean of the whole facility Including the outdoor facilities

The 1 person staff was very helpful and gave good sevive in the restaurant and bar and the food was good.

The rooms still dirty especiall the shower, the bed had clean sheets but got the itch from the bed

The motel was much the same as it was last time we stayed there. We returned because we had a very positive experience about 2 years ago. We traveled with another couple who also stayed there because of their experience on three previous stays. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Our expectation that the spa pool would be like it was on our last stay was deflated when we entered the "Artesian Pool" soon after we arrived and found that instead of the water being about 40 degrees (like it should be) it was tepid. It did not have the same feel like mineral rich water has and had a slight chlorine smell.The "artesian spa" would have been no more therapeutic than a standard swimming pool. The nightly rate was much more than other motels closer to town and was not value for money without the artesian spa. The artesian spa motel does not live up to its name and should be called something else. To infer it has an artesian spa is false advertising. We won't be returning.

The only positive was the beds. Pools were filthy & un-swimmable. Bins around common areas were overflowing. Price was way over the top for what was on offer.

Great place to stay with kids. Indoor heated pool was fantastic.Breakfast was amazing.
