Little bit pricey for what’s provided but understand it’s an in-demand area with beautiful surrounds

The spa and location were fantastic. The bed was super comfy and water pressure made the shower amazing to be in.

Not a massive fan of stairs and would have liked to be able to have a spa at any hour.

The location was fantastic- close to shops and cafes and lovely and quiet

We often stay here. It is comfortable and the staff are friendly. Its right in the heart of town walking distance to cafes and great shops.

The wonderful staff, the location, size of the property (quieter and more intimate than a large hotel) and the size of the rooms.

There was nothing I didn’t like. The bathrooms are a bit dated but overall, the rooms are pleasant and have everything you need.

The art and art books

We had a very noisy neighbour who sat outside smoking and yelling at his wife until 10 pm. Floor in bathroom was sticky on bare feet. Needs a good steam.

Park Ridge Retreat is located right in the heart of Gerringong Shopping Village and is a 15-20 min walk from Gerringong station. It's a short walk from the accommodation to Gerringong's cafes and restaurants, Town Hall, RSL club and war memorial, Pharmacy, medical centre, the library and museum etc.It's also about an 8-10 minute walk to the iconic and scenic Tasman Drive, which contains a beautiful lookout of the famous Werri Beach and rolling green hills that Gerringong is renowned for. Also close to the sentimental Gerringong Cemetery and seasonal Whale Watching Platform.

I wish the room had a dedicated kitchenette, and handwash instead of a small piece of bar soap to wash hands and I felt the bedroom lighting was a bit too dull, but other than that, I enjoyed my stay very much and when the opportunity arises again, I will stay again at Park Ridge Retreat.

The hotel was in a very central location to the town's restaurants and cafes. Very comfortable bed and pillows and the room was spacious. Great shower and a huge bathroom.

The position of the television made it difficult to watch from the bed.

Was further from beach than thought - short drive rather than short walk! But really not a big issue given how close to everything else

Very comfortable room with good access to parking. Conveniently located a few hundred metres from the town centre with great eateries to choose from.

Great location close in the main town centre and with relatively short walks to Werri Beach and the Cooke Park rock pool. The king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean (no mould around the shower, unlike most other places we've stayed at). The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Our only quibble is that the Palsonic bar fridge wasn't very effective (it kept things chilled rather than cold).

Park Ridge Retreat is a great location for a stop over after Sydney when heading further south.It is very clean & comfortable & pretty good value for money.The staff are very friendly & welcoming.Provide easy parking also which is very appreciated at no extra cost.We often stay here on our way home further south after a long flight.

Location is great!Parking was easy and available.Ample space on the bedside tables with electricity.Nice to have balcony access.

Lack of an exhaust fan in bathroom.Showers over bath need to have a partial screen as water goes all over floor. Also, a safety rail for older people to hold onto when getting in and out of the bath.Would be an improvement to have a hand held shower.
