Ashwood Motel

Rooms and stafff

A spacious room in a scenic location, quite as we were in the rear wing.

Pillows a bit hard for my taste.

Walking distance to venues good price clean

I will never stay here...

The bathroom was dirty, especially the shower area. The bed was uncomfortable. The aircon was noisy. The traffic outside was hectic.

Very comfortable. Large, lofty room. Convenient location, and quiet considering it is on the main street into town.

A memorable weekend for us and a big part of that was our accomodation. We absolutely loved staying in the Tradie room's at the Ashwood Motel. The room had everything we needed and more. Ample parking, space and a clean pool. Special thank you to all the staff from reception to house keeping. The tradie room & house keeping was unexpected so Thank you.

Basic

No sink to wash up, power point located in Wrong place. Need new toilet brush

Bad

I was given a room that had dirty sheets , so I asked for clean sheets and the lady took me to the laundry to get a clean one , when I removed the sheets there was a big stain on the mattress , the lady moved me to her supposedly deluxe room which was as deluxe as a box of home brand cereal , black mould in corners of bathroom and a rust fridge , old mm lolly’s on the floor .I could hear the next door room through the walls , the lady told me the business has just sold so the owner will not be renewing anything ! I hope the new owners have funds to up grade .

Location, pleasant staff at reception.Biscuits and plenty of milk for tea or coffee. Surprisingly quiet, considering it was close to the main road. That's a bonus. Well doneRSL food was excellent

All good

Central, tidy and clean

Room was very close to road and some traffic noise

friendly receptionist allowed us early access to our room. Bed was comfortable. No traffic noise.

Large open space in middle of the room could have been utilised with a table and chairs instead of the shelf attached to the wall. Or, alternatively, two comfortable chairs in which to relax could have been placed there. The microwave was situated nowhere near a power point and had to be moved if you wanted to use it.

Peaceful

Air con in disabled room didnt work properly but they swapped me over than fully

Exactly as expected, rooms were clean and tidy. Place is aged but clean. Facilities clean and well kept. Staff at reception friendly, welcoming and helpful. Someone is always around to assist when needed. Location of motel is perfect, eateries and gas stations close by. Fast food and supermarket at your doorstep

Linen was discolored but expected due to age of the motel, the towels smelt damp.

Convenient place for stop over travelling

Shower wasnt too clean toilet seat broken

Location suited our needs

Dirty used washer left in shower.Shower was filthy.

I enjoyed my stay it...

The showers a bit too small that's the only complaint I'm 6 foot 2 and the shower was about five foot

Convenient location and close to everything

Hotel room wasnt completely clean and there was evidence of mold or mildew around the bottom of the room

Clean, safe and the staff are friendly, respectful and reliable.

Clean, nice sized rooms, comfy bed, great shower.

Weirdly, lack of power points anywhere near the beds.

Ashford is a good, 3 star motel. Great location. Clean. Comfortable but not fancy.

Water was still on the floor in the bathroom from the cleaners.
