The Galaxy Motel

The room was lovely. Loved the room service. Most of the staff were friendly and most of the cleaning staff did do a good job

The lady who checked me in was called hotel employee she was so rude & got mad with me because I didnt have a credit card so not a great start. On the Monday and Thursday who ever cleaned my room did a very bad job no tea coffee towels ect.

Close proximity to RSL club. Great for dining.

Traffic noise impacted guest sleeping.

Location, filtered water in the family room, pool area, spa and sauna. Very comfortable stay.

Decor getting a little dated.

Location

Checkout at 10 is too early. 11am would be of great value to travellers as it gives you time to have breakfast at the RSL.

Very convenient & close to RSL, easy meals

The pool was gross, had algae & was not clean

FacilitiesCleanlinessShower head

Noise from RSLForklift rightoutside room delivering kegs

Clean & comfortable ! Staff were very friendly . Pool was great , away from everything.

Our room was very close to the highway . So we could hear the traffic. Kegs & pallets stored n front of the rooms. Very noisy when moved . Friday night band echoed thru our room till midnight .

Clean and everything we needed

Located upstairs so carrying luggage up was difficult

Very clean & comfortable. Perfect location close to shops and cafes.

The staff were pleasant

Cockroaches in the room, faulty equipment, inoperable windows, lack of security

size of the room was good were we were was good in the middle of everything

my wife had to get the staff to come in get rid of the cockroaches under the microwave and in the bathroom

The hotel is attached to the Gosford RSL club which has been recently extensively renovated. This makes it an ideal place to stay if you are attending the club. The room was spacious and clean but I thought it was a little overpriced.

A little bit of traffic noise and you could hear the bandfrom the club but it wasn't too bad.

Loved the 4 separate beds across 2 rooms for a good price - was a great option for a single parent travelling with extra teens! Also loved the spa and sauna, made for a very relaxing stay, although better instructions would be useful. Staff were responsive and helpful, so it was not a big deal if you have a bit of time. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and check in was easy. There was a decent amount of fridge space and plates, cutlery etc in the kitchen so we could easily eat our own meals.

The automated messaging could be worked on, I made a booking on the day of our stay and I did have to wait until 3pm for a 2pm check in. Not a big deal, but funnily enough received a text at 8pm saying my request for an early check in at 1pm was approved lol! I wasn't expecting it to be accepted - especially for such a last minute booking, but it might put some people out. This is a minor detail, the pros far outweighed this.

All was lovely, except neighbour was a little noisy 2 nights, talking loudly on his phone, and noisy inside his room. Otherwise I really enjoyed staying at your premises.

Clean,cozy near to public transport.

Staff may be informed negetive information about me.

Location, clean, good size room and great dinner at the club

Show pressure was not the best

The filtered water/ The club

The room /staff not courteous

We liked the proximity to the RSL and centre of town - after a full day's drive it was great not to have to get in the car again to get dinner. The room was spacious and very clean, and it was easy to spread out and relax.

Went out for the breakfast but hearing from others that stayed the RSl did a excellent service.

Nothing service and the rooms were great and convenient.

Good location next to the RSL so didn’t have to drive anywhere to have dinner, nice pool and great aircon

Staff could provide a map or instructions to the pool :)
