Pros +
- The accommodation was comfy, spacious and had the basic needs.
- The cabin could do with a good deep clean of the windows and fixtures, the blinds in the main bedroom were covered in black mould the other rooms blinds cords and fixtures were broken or missing.
- The Reflections Park at Jimmy's Beach is a beautiful setting. We opted for a galmping tent which was good in size with a comfortable bed and comfortable lounge. The bathroom was a good size with good pressure hot water in the shower. The outside deck was a great size with ample seating - although did get a bit wet as we experienced quite a bit of rain.
Cons -
- The screen sliding door didn't lock and I had to shake off something dirty on the beds
- As I am only 5 ft 2in I found the indoor cooking very poor. The glamping tent has an oven with two hot plates - the unit sits on the workbench which meant I could not see into the pan when cooking it was also a OH & S issue when cooking bacon and eggs as the fat spat directly out toward my eyes, it was not much better for my husband who is 5ft 8in. The cooking unit would only allow either the two hot plates or the oven to be used - you could not cook using both at the same time. There was no board available for me to put a hot pan onto...the plastic chopping board supplied would have melted under the heat. It may sound unimportant to some but I like to cook even when glamping. A solution would be to put a double hotplate, cut into the work bench and then have a BBQ on the deck. (there was no BBQ at the galmping tent) Just something to consider at the next reno. The closest BBQ was a couple of hundred metres away but needed cleaning when finished cooking, which we did happily, however there was not a garbage bin within sight.A $1 box of tissues would have been a nice touch. These are small erks, overall it was a lovely spot and an enjoyable stay.
- the price was a bit high also parking was a bit hard as we had a baby and had to walk with everything to get to our room

the friendly staff
the price was a bit high also parking was a bit hard as we had a baby and had to walk with everything to get to our room
The location and site was good,
The Tiny House was a bit small for us , we need a bit more room as age pensioners. For we are not agile anymore.
Reflections at Jimmys Beach is a quiet place a little spot that I think is more for retired peopleScenery is lovely, beaches are beautiful, Staff very accommodating and helpful Our Villa was very comfortable clean and well equippedwould do a return trip in the warmer weather
There is really nothing to dislike about Jimmys Beach A few little things with our villa it needed BBQ tools when using the BBQThongs needed in the kitchen and a instruction booklet on how the stove top works :)As my partner swims early every day and works out and the pool did not open until 9am he swim around 6.30 -7am which made for a very late breakfast for usOther than those few things a lovely place
Amazing brand new cabins, lovely feel to them, great lush bush environment. The pool is 10 out of 10 for the kids and bike tracks + fun at the beach nearby.
All three nightd we were there people in neighbouring cabins were up drinkoing quite late - past 2pm on one night, about 11.30pm then others. It would be good for the campground to either monitor it better or reinforce the respectful standards for all guests. It is my only hesitation in coming back.
Tiny home has everything you could want in it. Short walk to the pool.
Couldn’t check in till 40 minutes after the designated time due to cleaning not being done.
Well designed Tiny Home Clean and everything that you would want
Struggling to find anything we didn’t like perhaps the Cicadas were very noisy ? but fortunately the accommodation was pretty much insulated for Sound ✔️
Location was amazing. Listening to the sound of the ocean of a night. Magic walks by Jimmys beach. beautiful plants & gardens.
I felt sorry for the cleaning staff as they clearly did not have enough staff to service all the rooms.
I love this park as it's a short walk through bush to the beach and close to the bay. There are a lot of trees in and around the park. It feels close to nature with enough amenities for convenience (not that I used them). I stayed in a Tiny House which was clean and comfortable, I always like a kitchen with decent fridge and cook-top for food prep.
Being fussy - a bright light shining all night just metres away from the bedroom.
Fabulous park. Beautiful surroundings. Loved our stay in a tiny house.
Well provisioned glamping tent. Close to the beach.
Unfortunately, our only negative came from the cleaning staff - playing their music machine at full volume in the morning. The whole campsite had to listen to what they were playing. Very poor.
Location
Villa had a gew broken & missing things Broken fridge shelfNo bread board & basis like salt pepperCoffee machine leaked USB outlets didn’t work Outdoor table was very old/shabby
Close to the beach
Bed was a little uncomfortable and the little park was for older kids my 4 year old couldn’t use it
It was quite and clean
The deck was soft and rotten. My husband went through the deck
Layout, peace, access to beach - comfy bed.
Quietness - clean modern all kitchen facilities. The oven especially.
I enjoyed my tent experience.
Smelly sulo bins near our tent stunk. They need to be checked at least twice daily for people throwing bait/ prawns etc in them. Also our toilet seat was broken and it had been put back into position but fell off again…. It needed replacing.
1. We got upgraded to the newer version of Deluxe Beach Tent -which is has wood beams and rustic furniture, great use of canvas. Felt secure and comfortable even in strong wind and rain. 2. friendliness of everyone on site. 3. location in reserve, near beaches.
WIFI didn't work for us, But that also let us detach from phones!everything else was just perfect.
